Epilogue

I found this journal in Komori's closet. It's been three months since she left. School is starting up again, and we have two new students. Hizashi isn't doing well. None of us are. Komori left us with a note, which I'm adding in.

Dear Dads,

I've been thinking about this for a long time. I don't think it's safe for me to be around you or my friends right now. I was trying to find a reason to leave when one of my old friends texted me. Her name is Garnet, and she asked me to help her and her friend Steven in America. I'll be gone for a while, but I promise I'll come back. Please explain what happened to Jiro, Shoto, and Kaminari. It's not a secret, so they're free to tell anybody they like. I'll see you all again soon!

I'm so proud of her for making a decision like this. She's going to be an incredible hero one day. Until then, Hizashi and I will just have to wait for her.
