!SWEAR WARNING!
It's been a month since I started going back to school. Aside from the first day, I've been avoiding anything remotely violent. Because of the USJ attack, UA moved the Sports Festival back a few months, so I still get to participate.
Right now I was at home, talking with my dads, when Aizawa got a phone call.
Who's calling my dad at 10:30 at night?
"Yeah. Okay. Now? Alright, we'll be right there."
He hangs up and turns to me and Hizashi.
"Midnight called. She needs us to help with a hostage situation downtown," he says.
I stand up.
"Can I come?" I ask.
They look at each other, then back at me.
"Not this time Komori," Hizashi says. "We don't know if you're stable yet."
That makes me angry.
"I had a traumatic experience! I'm not a psychopath!" I shout. "Stop treating me like a five-year-old!"
Aizawa's face softened.
"Is that what this is about?" he asks. "What Bakugo said to you a few weeks ago?"
I look down.
"I just don't get it. Just because I kept you both safe everyone treats me like I'm made of glass or something."
I feel arms around me and look up to see Hizashi.
"We're sorry you feel like that Komori," he says, pulling away. "We just don't want to risk another freakout."
I sigh.
"I know. Go help Midnight. I'll wait up for you."
He smiles and him and Aizawa leave.
It's been six hours and I'm starting to panic. One thing about living with someone you can't trust, you tend to be a little paranoid.
"Where are they?" I ask.
I called my friends over around two in the morning. Aizawa finally let me tell them about my family after I went back to school, as long as they promised not to tell anyone.
"Relax Komori," Kaminari says. "It's probably just taking longer then they thought it would."
I turn to him.
"They've been gone all night Kaminari! It's four in the morning!" I shout. I sit down on the couch next to Shoto and put my head in my hands.
"I'm being paranoid again, aren't I?" I ask.
I feel and hand on my shoulder and look up at Shoto.
"Don't worry about it Komori. I'm sure everything's-"
He's cut off by my facetime ringtone. I pick up the phone.
"I don't recognize the number," I say. "Who would be calling me at four in the morning?"
"Answer it," Kirishima says.
So I do. And immediately regret it.
"Hello Tora," Shigaraki says. "You look nice."
"Aaaand I'm hanging up," I say.
"Ah ah ah! Wouldn't want your lose your parents now would you?" he asks.
I pale, and ice starts covering the floor. Shoto starts melting it with his foot, so I'm just standing on a circle of ice.
"Prove it," I say quietly.
Well, I started quiet.
"Prove to me you have my parents, and that this isn't just an empty threat to get to me!"
He grins and turns the phone around. That's when I see them.
Aizawa was on his knees, hands behind his back with a blindfold on. Hizashi was hanging from the ceiling, hands and legs tied together. He was also gagged.
Because we wouldn't want the heroes to use their quirks. That's too easy!
Sarcasm is another symptom of living with villains.
"Say hello to Daughter Dearest," Shigaraki taunts.
Hizashi looks up. His eyes widen when he sees me, and he starts yelling into the gag.
"Komori," Aizawa says, keeping his head down. "Don't you dare accept anything he offers. We can handle ourselves."
I growl.
"What do you want Shigaraki?!" I shout. "And why can't you leave my parents out of this!"
Shoto places a hand on my shoulder and I relax just a little.
"I have two offers for you Tora," he says. "Either you join the League of Villains for good, or you won't ever see your parents alive again."
"Komori, don't you dare!" Aizawa shouts.
I clench my fists, take a deep breath, and open my eyes again.
"How about a new request?" I ask calmly.
He tilts his head.
"I'm listening."
I take a deep breath.
"Three days. We meet in the UA Sports Festival Arena. You bring both of my dads with you, alive, along with four people to fight alongside you. I bring four teammates, and we fight. If you win, I'll join the League of Villains for good. If you lose, I get my dads back and you leave me alone."
He grins while Aizawa and Hizashi protest with angry shouts.
"Deal. See you in three days."
He hangs up and I throw the phone across the room.
"I can't believe him!" I shout. "That bastard! He kidnapped my parents!"
Shoto takes my hands, forcing me to control myself. I take a deep breath, then hug my best friend.
Give yourself five seconds. Five seconds to freak out, then focus.

I take a deep breath and pull away from Shoto. One good thing about living with the enemy; I figured out how to stay calm and collected in an emergency.
"Alright," I say, turning to my friends. "Jiro, Shoto. We've been working together for awhile, and already know how to use our quirks together. Kiri, Kaminari, we need to learn a lot in a short time. Let's get started."
