Chapter 4

Alex's POV
My phone started ringing, who the hell would call so early? I saw who's the caller and checked the time. Oh it was 9:15 already and it was Elena, my best friend.
"Hey."
"Finally you pick up your damn phone."
"Sorry, anyways what's up?"
"I was thinking if you'd like to go to the beach with me and we can go shopping later and stuff you know, before you go..."
"Sure! What time?"
"10?"
"Okay, see you!"
"Bye!"
I got up and made my bed, and took a quick shower. I headed down for breakfast. "Mum, Elena asked me to spend the day with her, is that okay?"
"Sure, go ahead! But don't be back too late, we're heading to the Harries for dinner at 8."
"How bout I meet you there?"
"Alright, here's the address."
"Okay."
I ate my breakfast and changed. I wore a blue crop top, my black high waisted shorts and a pair of my black high cut converse. There was a knock on my door and I opened it to find my mother.
"Yes mum?"
"Darling, I was wondering if you could bring Jack and Finn along with you?"
"Um... sure I guess, I'll tell Elena first..."
"Okay great! I'll tell them!"
"Okay..."
I phoned Elena and told her that the Harries were coming and she literally died. She was so excited and I could tell that this is just another flirting session but, what's there to lose? I checked the time and saw that it was 9:40, oops! Not much time left.
I tied my hair into a messy braid and wore my flower crown. I wore a pair of white rose earrings and did my natural make up. I packed the essential things like my phone, wallet, a towel, some makeup and my bikini inside my backpack. Soon I heard a knock on the door, I checked the time it was 9:55, knowing Elena she's never early and since we were going out with some hot guys she was gonna take even longer. "Jack! Finn!" Damn... I slung my backpack over my shoulder and made my way down. I picked up my skateboard and my checkered jacket at the foot of the stairs. "Hey guys, you're early," I said. They turned and started to check me out. I crossed my arms and raised my eyebrow, they looked back at me and I smirked. I was about to say something when a knock on the door interrupted me. I jumped a little and went to open the door. "ELENA!" I hugged her, "ALEXA!" She squealed.
"Come on in for a while," I gestured her into the house. Jack and Finn stood up, Jack shook her hand and Finn just nodded his head with a smile. "Elena! Long time no see!" My mother came out of the kitchen and hugged Elena. "Hey, El!" It was Brandon. "Hey, Don!" They fist bumped and made exploding noises and I shook my head. "Don't steal my bestie, asshole," I shot Brandon a death glare. He raised his hands up in surrender and I laughed. One of the boys cleared his throat, "sorry I don't mean to interrupt but we should maybe..." It was Finn, he motioned toward the door and I nodded. "Alright see you guys tonight!" My mum waved us goodbye and I kissed her cheek and gave Brandon a hug.
