Chapter 21

Alex's POV

My eyes widened when I saw that it was dark out. What time is it? I checked my watch, 8:30pm. Wow we slept for like... 4 hours. I turned and faced Finn. His eyes were closed and his lips were slightly parted, he looked amazing. And just then my damn stomach had to ruin the moment. It growled, I put my hand on my belly and felt the hunger. (If that was actually possible.) I tried to squirm out of his grip without waking him up.
"Alex?" His voice was raspy and incredibly attractive.
"Yes?" I squeaked.
"Where are you going?" He ruffled his hair up.
"Kitchen," I replied.
"Kitchen?"
"Yea, I'm starving."
"Shit, what time is it?"
"Um, 8:30."
He immediately sat up and ruffled his hair again. I tilted my head and stared at him. I noticed his green eyes had gold flecks in it making it extremely attractive and I immediately got lost in them.
He leaned in and I snapped out of my thoughts. I could see him smirking, my face could not get any redder.
"Seeing you stare at me like that makes me feel like the luckiest man alive," he said with a genuine smile. Well, my face definitely got redder.
"Boy," I smiled.
He raised an eyebrow, "you wanna play?"
My eyes widened and I shook my head.
"That's what I thought," he smirked and I rolled my eyes.
He kissed my cheek, "go get ready beautiful, I'll take you out for dinner." I smiled and kissed his cheek too, "Okay."

I picked out a floral summer dress with lacing on the back and slipped on my red vans. I tied a fish braid and did a style called creative wings using my eyeliner and some ruby red lipstick. After I put some stuff in my nude clutch, I heard a knock on the door.
I opened it and saw Finn standing outside looking amazing as always. He eyed me up and down, I couldn't help but blush and before I knew it, I was checking him out too.
I looked into his eyes and he had his eyebrows raised. I blushed and smacked his arm, "don't even think about it."
He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed my cheek and whispered, "you look beautiful as always, Alex."
Does he not know the things he does to me? God...

"Um, so where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see," he smiled.
I raised an eyebrow and he placed a hand on my back, pushing me out of the house gently.
"Is it gonna be nice?" I asked again. I know I'm so childish...

"You'll love it. I hope," he chuckled.
I giggled and kissed his cheek. He opened the door to the passengers seat for me and after shutting the door, he entered the drivers seat and started the engine.
I swear this guy is always full of surprises. For me.
