Three Months Later
Joon Jae's Place
11:30 AM
Joon Jae, Nam Doo, Tae Oh, and you are hanging out in the living room. The uncles are watching the news; meanwhile, you and Tae Oh, are playing games on your phones.
Well actually it's just him playing and you watching him since you gave up 10 minutes ago cause' you keep losing. And it's calming seeing him play games, what's not calming though is the game's background music blasting out of his earphones which is hanging around his neck.
"Turn down the volume, " you whisper.
"Just leave it be, " he whispers back.
"Turn it down. My ears are hurting."
"It's more fun with background music."
"Yeah, well, it's not fun for my ears to be blasted by those horrid sounds! And don't even put them on, your eardrums are going to be damaged!"
Fed up with it, you take the phone after the screen says he won and turn down the volume.
He playfully glared at you, or that's what you think. Pretending to be mad, he leaves you on the couch and heads to the fridge to get ice cream.
Joon Jae suddenly yells,
"YAHHH NAM DOO, DID YOU FINISHED THE LAST BEER? AND YOU, ARE YOU SERIOUSLY EATING THE LAST ICE CREAM?! I PAID FOR IT, SO WHY ARE YOU ALL EATING MY FOOD?! WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO MOVE OUT HUH IT'S BEEN THREE MONTHS."
Feeling guilty, you answer with pleading eyes. "Sorry, uncle Joon Jae, me and Tae are still looking for a place. Promise we'll move out after finding a nice place! It's just all the nice apartments are taken these days." with your tone deflating at the end of your sentence.
Sighing like a deflated balloon "It's okay kid you can stay at least you still actually help me by getting groceries, cooking, and cleaning, UNLIKE SOMEONE WHO JUST SITS ON THEIR ASSES EVERYDAY AND DON'T HELP AT ALL." he answers, targeting Tae Oh and Nam Doo, but most definitely Nam Doo as his primary target.
"HEY, I don't just sit on my ass every day. I lay on the couch, too, since sitting can be tiring."
Then, Joon Jae zooms across the kitchen to the living room, chasing Nam Doo around while holding a pillow, and all you can do is laugh your ass off.
In the midst of all that, Tae Oh approaches you silently and gives you half of the ice cream as a peace offering.
"Sorry, I almost broke your eardrums."
with a warning tone, you reply, "It's okay babe, just remember not to try damaging your eardrums next time."
With that and while the uncles are still busy with themselves, he kisses you on the head and goes to the bathroom, probably because he didn't want you to see his red cheeks.
