Joon Jae's Birthday
10:00 AM
After showering, the first thing you do is go look for Joon Jae, and it isn't a hard task since he's lounging in the living room.
Hugging him from behind the couch, you surprise him, "Big bro, happy birthday!" and kiss him on the cheek.
"Thanks, kid." he smiles.
"So, how old are you now?"
"Young enough to be your big bro."
"Are you, though?" After saying that, you get a flick to the forehead.
"Hey, don't disrespect your elders," he scowls.
"So you're admitting that you're old?" you ask with an innocent expression on your face.
Nam Doo, who has just arrived at the living room, joined in, "Just let him be today, Hana. It's his birthday, and you know he's old enough to be your dad."
"Yahh, not you too."
Leaving them to bicker on the sofa, you join Tae Oh, who's sitting at the kitchen island playing on his phone. Checking the fridge, you sigh and call out to the two older men on the couch.
"Uncles, we're running low on groceries, and I think all we can eat for breakfast are eggs and plain bread."
"I told you to get groceries, Nam Doo; it was your turn." Joon Jae scolds him.
"Ahh, was it? Sorry I forgot I'll do it today, okay." With a sorry expression, Nam Doo replies.
"Let's eat out for breakfast today, and I'll go to the supermarket with you. I have some things to buy too."
Then the doorbell rings.
"Who's here so early in the morning?" Nam Doo grumbles going to the front door.
"Ohh, Cha Shi Ah, what are you doing here?" Nam Doo opens the door wider so she can come inside.
"Since it's Joon Jae's birthday, I cooked some food and thought maybe we could have breakfast together." She can't stop giving Joon Jae glances even though she's talking to Nam Doo.
"Ahhh, eonnie, you're a lifesaver. We don't have enough ingredients for breakfast today. Thank god you came. Here I'll set up the food." Taking the food from her hands, you go to the kitchen.
"Tae, can you get the plates and utensils." he immediately takes out what you asked for.
"Come on, sit. Don't just stand there." You order everyone.
