Chapter.25

Rick had started to feel bad about what he ad done to Nicole and he wanted to talk to her, he had thought it over about what to talk to her after he had check with things back in the real world. He wasn't happy that a lot of people where looking for her and even his family was looking for her, Rick did return back to the palace grounds and had ask if Nicole was still in the room in which they had answered that she was and didn't want to be disturbed. Rick still wanted to talk to her so once he had reached the door too the door he knocked on it a few times before talking

"Nicole baby, listen I wanted to talk to ya. I-I know you don't want to. But hear me out." Right after he said that he had opened the door and entered the room and quickly noticed that it was empty, he quickly started searching the entire room including the bathroom and the closet only to not find Nicole anywhere. He ended up punching the wall out of anger when he realized that she had escaped 

"Damn it how the hell did she escape? And where the fuck did she end up too?" 

Imminently Nicole had entered the Citadel she didn't recognize anything in her area but noticed a lot of Morty's which made her realize that she was in Morty town, she also had a feeling that once she had activated her emergency portal it would active a tracker. If Nicole wanted to get back in her universe she needed to be smart and careful, Nicole had managed to blend in with a small crowd of Morty's and sneak the mortal she had used in one of the Morty's pockets without that noticing as she was started to leave the crowd. And as she thought several Rick cops had shown up and caught that Morty that had the portal device and started questioning him while one of the cops searched him and found Nicole mortal macaroon device in his pocket, With the Rick's looking around Nicole had managed to sneak into the back seat of one of the police cars and hid as a Rick cop had gotten in and his vehicle had started to fly out of the area. Nicole stayed as quiet as possible, she knew one wrong move and the Rick would alert the others. She stated calm and tried her beat from keeping her heart beating loud and increasing with the danger she was in, after what seemed like twenty minutes Nicole left the vehicle land on the ground and hearing the drivers door open and closed. With waiting a few extra minutes Nicole had gotten out of the vehicle and saw that she was in a type of parking garage for police cars.

"Oh damn...Now what?" Nicole as thought that to herself as she hid behind one of the cars making sure that she wasn't noticed by some of the Rick cops that had arrived to park there vehicles as well, though she managed to sneak a little closer to hear what some of them where saying. She made sure to stay hidden

"No luck either huh?"

"The device was activated and she couldn't had gotten far the second she came here, the President wanted her found as soon as possible? I don't wanna piss him off." Nicole thought it was strange hearing Rick's voice talking over to himself, but she was too curious to care. She continued listening as best as she could so that she could get a better understand of what was really going on in why the Citadel President wanted her so badly, sadly for her she didn't get much luck though since the Ricks had left. However she had noticed a Morty dressed in a white uniform that got her inspired for an idea to get around in the building more freely, she took the opportunity in knocking out the Morty by punching him out cold in his face by giving him a black away. With a quick switch Nicole had changed her clothes with the morty's and in turn she had switched his clothes, Nicole then put the unconscious Morty in the back seat of one of the police vehicles before leaving. 

Thanks to the uniform change Nicole was able to get around the building a lot more easy and the Ricks that had seem her thought she was another Morty as she was with some of the Rickless Morty's that where in the building, Nicole made sure not to speak and when one of the Morty's spoke to her she had pointed to her neck a few times signaling that she had a very sore throat and couldn't talk much. When one of the Morty's said he was getting hungry Nicole had pulled out one of her snacks which was chocolate pocky to the Morty and he took it
