Not everyone can wear the crown
So don't let this life get you down.
Roaring crowds or silent tears
Rise again and face your fears.
Not everyone sees who you are
You've painted over every scar.
You're too afraid to let them see
A shadow that cannot break free.
Not every past deserves to live
But to forget you must forgive.
These shackles only trap your soul
So let them go and be made whole.
No one is the same as you
That's why their judgment is askew.
The pain you hold—the dreams you share
Are all unique so don't compare.
Not everyone has wings to fly
But everyone must someday die
And when my bones are laid to rest
I will have lived my very best.
