(Y/n) P.O.V.
Chris and Mike roughly escort a bound Josh to the shed. I tag along behind. They tried to get me to stay, but nope. "Guys! Guys come on... seriously, this is crazy, you know?" Josh insists. "Shut up." Mike says. I don't know if I hate Josh or pity him. He clearly isn't okay. He's sick, he needs proper help. But he's a danger to all of us and himself till we can get him that help. "Why did ya hit her man!? Why'd you have to fucking hit her?!" Chris asks with anger. "What are you talking about?" Josh's ask. "You punched Ashley you piece of shit!" He says. "I got so mad." "You don't hit a girl. You just don't." "Dude...Dude, Chris...Bro...I-" "I'm not your bro!" Chris hisses. I shudder as I think about all the fire. "Where are we going? Where are you guys taking me?" Josh asks. "Locking you up, bro." Mike says. I roll my eyes. If they say bro, one more fucking time....
"What?!" Josh exclaims in disbelief. "So you can't do anything stupid before we call the police in the morning." "Come ON! I didn't DO ANYTHING-" "Are you serious, bro?" Chris asks. "Oh my god, just shut up! All of you!" I shout. "You're a goddamned murderer is what you are." Mike continues, ignoring me for the moment. "And a torturer." He points at me. "I didn't do it, Michael please! Just listen to me, man! I did not hurt Jessica-" Josh pleads. "Are you insane? Like, really? Do you not understand what you've done?" Chris asks. "No he doesn't. He needs help." I say calmly. "I'm a healer, man. I bring people together. Not like you assholes." Josh accuses. "That's enough." Mike commands.
"You only see what you wanna see! You're blind!" Josh says. "Trust me, I don't want to see fire being shit at my face, you dipshit!" I growl. "Well maybe you deserved it. You let my sister die." He insists. I scowl, the words stinging me. It was ruled as an accident, and even though I wasn't actually the last person they saw, I felt so responsible. Mike tackles him to the ground. "It's not my fault you suckers can't take a joke." Josh insists. "Oh, oh wait, did I hurt you? Did you just feel a little... a little bit of pain? Right now I am SO... SO... SORRY." Josh screams out in pain. "Stop it..." He groans. I look away. Chris puts a hand in my shoulder. "Jesus, dude..." He mumbles. "Stop... Michael... I'm sorry... Man... I can't tell how sorry I am that something happened to Jessica but I swear, I swear to you that I have no idea what happened to her..." Josh says.
"Shit...Mike, this...I dunno, something feels wrong here, man-" Chris starts. "Are you joking?" "I-I'm just having a really hard time figuring out he would, like, do anything to hurt Jess-" "I saw what he did to her. With my own eyes. This... This... This is her blood. And what about (Y/n)? Look at her arm, her jacket is burned through!" Mike shouts, clearly pissed. "Could have been worse." Josh insists. I look away from the scene. I didn't realize Mike had noticed that. "Can't we all just get along? OW! DAMMIT!" Josh shouts as he trips while entering the shed. "We're not dicking around." Mike growls. "It's not right... nope... this is not how it's supposed to go down... You're just a bunch of bullies... You can't hang out a guy just to dry like this, guys-- Not like... Not like you got the guts to really do anything about it anyways!" Josh mutters.
"Oh stuff it. You're the biggest coward there is!" I snarl. "Uh huh? I DID something- I MADE you believe in the world I created and I showed you parts of yourself you were too afraid to visit-" "You manipulated us, you tricked us, you hurt your friends and you did it all while you hid in the shadows. You're a coward Josh, that's all you are." Chris adds. Mike forcefully shoves and sits Josh down on a stool near a pole. They tie him up while I stare him down. "Okay... Tying me up now... okay..." Josh mumbles. "Stay still, man." Mike commands. "Right, right right right... still... can't tie 'em up if they just wiggle around!" Josh wiggles in his spot to make things harder. "Leave me a little wiggle room, huh?"
"What does it take to shut you up?" Mike asks. "Ow! Not so tight, okay? Not so tight, okay! I can't wiggle around. Plastic ties. That's where it's at. Yeah." Josh mutters nonsense. "What... in god's name is he talking about?" Mike asks. "He's gone off the deep end. He needs some medical help." I say with pity. "Plastic ties, plastic ties. Way more effective for hostage type scenarios." "This is hard to watch..." Chris says. "He ever say this kind of shit before?" Mike asks. I shrug. "Guaranteed for at least three hostages, or your money back!" "No, I never seen him like this..." Chris says. "Well yeah. Your siblings dying kinda fucks you up." I look at the ground, avoiding their gaze. Mike played a major role in the prank, and Chris was going to sacrifice himself. And I... well you know. I understand why Chris was going to do it, but it still messes with you.
"Everybody is stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid... Chris and Ash, Chris is an ass, Ashley's a dumb dumb..." Josh speaks again. "Insult my brother again, and we'll find out how far my foot and go up your ass!" I hiss. "What's wrong with you?" Chris adds. "Ohh... Ashley..." Josh says in a funny voice, mocking Chris. "I never imagined in my wildest dreams that you like me...!" "Stop." Chris says darkly. "You know what that sound is? It's the sound of never kissing Ashley, you pussy." Josh shouts. "Stop!" "Chris, he's just trying to push your buttons." I say. "Yeah, you know? You might as well let Mike fuck (Y/n). Let her finally see a good time." Josh thrust his hips suggestively while speaking. I glow red, but I don't know if it's from anger or embarrassment. Chris grabs a wooden board and lifts it up preparing to hit Josh. "I'm gonna beat his head off!" "Chris-" "Don't listen to him. Not worth it." Mike says. "Hey Mike. Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike. Mike!"
"Don't respond, Mike." I say. "What happened with Jess, Mike?" "You know what happened." Mike hisses. "No... No... I don't... I got a problem, Mike... I don't remember killing Jess...I mean, like, I feel like I would remember killing her, you know? She's so soft... and she's probably got like a really tight bod..." Josh stares off into space then looks at me. "But I guess (Y/n)'s body is more your speed... or maybe you just like murderers." He adds. "Shut your fucking mouth!" Mike shout, and points the gun at him. "Mike-" I start. Chris uses the board to disarm Mike. "Seriously?" Mike sigh in exasperation. "Wh-What?" "Did you think I was gonna shoot him?" "I-I dunno.." "Come on, Chris, you know me better than that." They bicker. "Yeah Chris. You know me better than that." Josh mocks. "Ah...yeah. Well, just, next time give me the heads up, alright?" Chris says. "Oh, you poor little piggies, can't even get their good cop bad cop routine to work. Leave to the pros, bros." Hurt, angry, and scared, I smack Josh across the face. I know it's his fault, but I can't help it anymore. "Just shut up." I croak out.
"Why don't you head back to the lodge and make sure everyone's alright. I'll stay here with this lunatic until morning." Mike suggests to me and Chris after moving me away from Josh. "Oooh! Sleepover! C-can we order pizza?" "You sure you're okay...?" Chris asks. "They'll want to know everything's fine back there." Mike decides. "You're right. See you in the morning." Chris drops the wooden board. "Coming (Y/n)?" I look at Mike. "I'll stay with Mike." Chris sigh, glares at Mike a final time, and leaves. "Ooooh, what are we gonna talk about?" Josh asks. I scowl. "Can we talk? Over there." I ask Mike, and point to another corner. He nods. "Umm...I..." I whisper and stutter. "Did you see it?" I ask. "See what?" He asks. "Uh, Uh, Josh locked my in a room, and threatened me with fire if I didn't answer a question..." Mike's eyes soften. He nods. "Fucker sent it to me. I'm so sorry you had to go through that (Y/n)." Tears prick my eye, but I don't let them fall. "How much did you see?" I asks. "All of it." I look down. "So...does that make things weird... or-" I'm cut off by lips being pressed to mine.
