Finding the Truth

Chapter.5

Authors POV:

Jay sat against the door contemplating whether or not to let Nya in, but eventually, he gave in and opened the door. Once he came into view of the water ninja she gave him a look of sympathy and concern seeing his red eyes and tear-stained face. Jay let Nya in and shut the door behind her. He then led her to his bed and they both sat down looking into each other's eyes, but this did not last long as Jay broke down again. Nya pulled her crying boyfriend into a hug as he continued to sob into her shoulder.

" I know I know sh sh, try and calm down" Nya cooed while rubbing his back gently. This continued until his sobs soon became sniffles and Nya saw this as her chance " Can you please look at me?"

Jay obliged to what he was asked and looked at his girlfriend with red eyes and a quivering lip, showing the threat of tears he was holding back. Nya cupped his cheek and wiped the tears from his face and spoke...

"Jay I understand it hurts you, I know what you know and I'm here for you no matter what," She said trying to calm him down.

"I know N-Nya...b-but I didn't th-think it was true," He said fighting back the tears, " I-I thought he was l-lying..."

"I know I know, so did I and I would be lying if I said that I knew what to tell you to make you feel better about all of this, but I don't because I cannot shield the truth. But I know that no matter what I will be right by your side through all of this no matter what." After saying those words Jay broke down again but also pulled Nya into a tight hug.

"Thank y-you Nya," Jay said through sobs as he cried into his girlfriend's shoulder once again.

"Always and forever Jay, I'll be here always and forever" Nya responded hugging him back smiling. Nya was worried about the blue ninja, of course she was. She was worried about his feelings towards this whole situation but also worried that something bad will happen, she could feel it in her gut. Although Nya also knew that she had to be there for her boyfriend thought everything and support any decision he would make, but also be there to set him straight if trouble were to come. Which it always does.

Jay snapped Nya out of her thoughts with a kiss. She was shocked at first but slowly fluttered her eyes shut and sunk into the kiss. She moved her arms around his neck pulling him closer as he moved his hands around her back doing the same. They continued to kiss each other for a while but eventually had to break apart for air because it was necessary to live. They rested their foreheads against each other as they stared into the other's eyes. This went on for a bit before both broke into a fit of giggles.

As both of their laughs died down they pulled away and stared into each other's eyes once again smiling at the other. The smile on Jay's face eventually became a frown " I think we have to tell the others... and then we have to go talk to my parents." He reasoned while taking both of Nya's hands into his.

She gave him a sad smile knowing he was right " I know... and we will" she said giving his hands a reassuring squeeze.

Nya was first to stand up, letting Jay pull himself together before she held out her hand for him to take. Jay nervously accepted his girlfriend's gesture putting his hand in hers and standing up from his bed. He took a deep and shaky breath but nodded towards Nya that he was ready to go. Without exchanging any other words they both headed out the door with only one thought running through both of their minds.

'This should be fun'

Hello everyone!

This chapter took a while even tho it's a bit short because I had accidentally deleted the entire thing after I finished the first time! I was soooooo mad, but I got it done!

Anyways once again I'm always open to things I can improve on!
