Joanna sat next to me in the car and I couldn't help but stare at her. She was gorgeous. I found her reaction quite adorable when she came in my house.

"I still can't believe you live here!" she said and took a seat on my bed. "It's not that big of a deal, Joanna."

She nodded "It is."
"Whatever" I smile.
"When's dinner?"
"I don't know but I think my mom is almost done."

"Oh ok. Do you think I'll have time to unpack?" She asked. "Erm yeah. I could come if you want?"

"Sure. I think my dad is home right now."

"Kay." I said and sat up from the chair I had ended up sitting in.

Joanna sat up also and made her way to my door. She waited for me and insisted I go first. I laughed and walked down the stairs. Jo followed right behind me like a lost puppy.

I held the door open for her and walked out on my front yard. "Well I live right across from you so this shouldn't take long." She joked. I laughed, not because it was hilarious but because of her cuteness.

We got to her house and waited for her dad to open up. "We're going to go unpack." Joanna told her father. We made our way up the staircase but stopped midway. "Wait. Where's my room. And stuff?" She yelled down.

"Down the hall to your right. Your things are in there."

"Thanks Dad!" She yelled back.

We approached a room with a plain white door. It was slightly opened so she pushed it opened. Plain white. It was basically a white room. I looked over at Jo.

Her expression was neutral. "Um ok well let's unpack I'll figure out what to do with my room later"

I nodded.

I walked over to her suitcase and asked where she will store her things. "Closet," She simply replied.

Once we finished unpacking , which didn't take long at all, we sat down on the floor and thought about what to do with her room. "We could paint it?" I suggested. "Of course silly. Um but what color? I have tons of favorites."
"Splash them everywhere." I shrugged.
"How?" She laughed. "Just get water balloons fill the up with the paint and throw them on your walls, Joanna." I rolled my eyes playfully. "Oh" She giggled and I couldn't help but smile at her.

"We should get going." I tell her. "Oh right, dinner." We stand up and exit her plain room. "Dad?" Joanna speaks once we get down the stairs. "Dad?" She repeats again. "Well, I guess he's at your house."

"Guess so." I reply and head out the door. We end up laughing or butts off by the time we get to my home and of course draw attention to everyone thats in the room. "Dinner is ready." My mother smiles. "Thanks."

We sit next to each other and wait for mom to get our food. She cooked mashed potatoes, pasta, garlic bread, lasagna and green beans. I serve my self pasta, lasagna, and grab a garlic bread.

I look over at Joanna's plate. Pasta, lasagna, mashed potatoes, green beans and a piece of garlic bread. I could tell by the look on her face she doesn't really want the green beans but is to kind to turn them down.

"So, Joanna, how was your life back in Florida?" my father asks her. Joanna's breath hitches and her fork drops to her plate. "Um, it was..I-it was..good." She stutters.

My father nods. "Did you have many friends?" Joanna looks like she's going to break down any moment. "Wel-" She gets cut off by a knock on the door.

"Oh that must be the Espinosa's!" my mother cheers. "We invited them over. I hope that's not a problem." A look of concern washes over her face and looks at the Joanna's parents. "No, No of course not !" Jo's mother says. A sigh of relief escapes my mother lips.
