I take Joanna's seat. I want to tell her to stay but I know she is right, like always, Hayes and I need to talk and we need to fix the small bruises that are forming in our friendship.

"Sup Has," I smile. "Hey," He grins. "How ya feeling?" I ask him to start a conversation. "Fucked up," He says and I burst in laughter. "I've missed you, Matt." He chuckles.

"I've missed you too." I say. "You love Joanna, don't you?" He catches me off gaurd. "Um well, I don't know if it's love but it's surely something I've never felt before." I flash him a nervous smile.

"Same," He sighs. "Did you hear what happened with Taylor?" I dare to ask. "Yeah, that's the reason I'm here. I was on my way to that asshole's house to beat the shit out of him but I wasn't paying attention so that's why I am here." Hayes explains. "I was going to do the same but I heard you got hurt so I came here first." I tell him.

"I bet he's going to leave Joanna alone now." I feel sick at the thought of Taylor making Joanna his.

She's mine. I want her to be mine.

"I feel so tired," Hayes whines. "It's ok I'll go," I say and head out. "Bye Matt," Hayes attempts to wave. "I'll come back later,"

I walk back to the waiting room and see Joanna leaning on Andrea's shoulder. She walks towards me when she sees me, "Hey," She says and I can tell she's trying to hold her tears back. I pull her into a hug and I rest my head on top of hers.

I hear her small sob muffled into my shirt. I squeeze her gently and let go of her to see her beautiful face. "Hey, baby it's going to be okay." I say leaning down a bit and wiping her tears. A small smile appears on her lips. She stands on her tippie toes and I lean in.

Matt gives me a small kiss and within that kiss I figure out I want him and only him.

"Wanna go get something to eat?" He asks. "Eat?" I raise my brow. "Hospital food is disgusting. I don't even think you can call it 'eating'."I smile. He shakes his head. "Let's go," Matt says and intertwines out fingers. We walk towards the elevators to get to the first floor where the cafeteria is located.

"Do you love Hayes?" He surprises me by asking in the elevator. "Yeah, I mean like a friend, I don't know if as something else." I answer honestly. "Do you love me?" he asks.

I look into his eyes and don't answer the question. I do love him but he doesn't love me.

The elevator doors open and we walk to the cafeteria. I get a muffin and a coffee, so does Matt.

"You never answered my question I asked you." Matt said biting into his muffin. "I do love you, but you don't feel the same and I do want this relationship to be real but you don't." I frown and chew my muffin.
