"Honey Im going on a work trip the day after tomorrow", mom breaks the comfortable silence
"Where are you going this time ? With who ?", I asked
It's nice to know earlier that mom is going for a work trip, because sometimes she would have just gone in the morning with a note on my study desk saying that she's gone for a work trip or something
"I'm going to Paris with my friend Alice for fashion week", wow how I wish I could come too
"But Rosé honey, I might have a slight problem with leaving you alone here", she stated worried written on her face
"Why would you be worried ? I mean I'm a 22 years old girl and you have been leaving for work trip and left me at home for few weeks before and Im fine", I convince her that me staying at home alone should be okay
"The thing is I'm going for a long time", she said
"How long can it be ?", I scoffed because sometimes mom is so over dramatic
"6 months", my eyes widened
"Wow mom, that's half a year", I mumbled
"But fortunately, me and my friend came to conclusion that you can stay at Alice's, she has a son and a daughter, they might accompany you for the time being, well until I got home", wait what ?
"But mom isn't it too sudden ? I mean living in the same roof with strangers ? On top of that, why can't I stay with Win ?", I pleaded
"They're not strangers, they are my friend's children which means you know them as well", I dont like this idea
"Moreover, Win is a single guy who lived alone people might think about you guys negatively for staying under the same roof by yourselves", well she got a point
But hey me and Win are friends since forever ?

Here I am in my room on the day my mom will be going for a work trip
I'm packing up last bits of my stuff before we go
"Rosé honey are you done, let's go to Alice's !", She shouted from the living room
I came down dressed in my tight black jeans and a white sweater with a pair of white sneakers, and letting my long wavy hair down
Also a natural makeup for today !
"Mom what about my stuff ?", I asked
"Oh, Alice's butler will pick them up and sent them to you tomorrow, just bring your night clothes and for tonight and your important stuff ? Laptops, phones chargers etc", Mom answered
On my way to the car I met up with Win
Win lived 2 blocks away from me not that far
"Hey Rosé where are you going ?", He asked
"Well my mom here think that it should be a good Idea if I went and lived in her friend's house for 6 months while she went for work trip".
"6 MONTHS ?!", Win looking shocked
"That's a very long time", he pouted
I went up to him and hold his hands
"Win, it's not like I'm moving out of the country or something, how about this you can meet me up at the house that I'm staying in and after that maybe bring me somewhere ?", I cheer him up
He smiled sheepishly
Thank god, it works
"Okay !", He exclaimed
"Rosé, time to go ! We dont want Alice to wait any longer and my flight is in 4 hours !", Mom screamed from the car
I look back at Win and sighed
"Well, goodbye and take care", I hugged him
I went to the car and mom started to drive away
There I saw Win waving at me with a smile plastered on his face
