I awake up and our clocks are still off by awhile. I look outside and see the sun is shining, birds singing, and a bunny happens to be running into the woods. This day is beautiful. I get dressed and brush my hair. I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. Stan is sitting reading "Gold Chains for Old Men". He notices me walk in. "Good morning! You hungry for some leftover Stan-cakes?" The only thing worse than normal Stan-cakes are leftover Stan-cakes. "Nah. I'm alright I'll just have some Overly Sensitive Owl." He nods and points to a cabinet. I grab a bowl, the cereal , and some milk and sit at the table. I pour and dish out my cereal and begin eating. "Who screamed last night? I was watching a show and heard a loud, girly scream." "Dipper screamed. He had a bad nightmare." Stan laughs and takes a sip of his milk he had. "Didn't know the kid's voice still when that high." We laugh and I continue to eat. I'm finishing up when Dipper comes in and sits down at the table. His hair is everywhere, he's still in his clothes from yesterday, and he looks exhausted. I quick send a look to Stan and he stops grinning. "You alright kid? Your not as... chipper." Dipper doesn't respond and just stares blankly at the table. "Dipper! Stan asked a question!" He snaps to. "Huh? What did you say?" Stan shoots my look I have earlier back to me. " I asked if your felling alright. You seem a little... distracted today." Dipper nods. "I didn't get much sleep. I woke up from a nightmare screaming which woke Mabel up. I couldn't fall back asleep after that." He groans and holds his hand to his temple. "Headache?" He nods slowly. Stan seems just as concerned as I do, he reaches across the table and feels Dippers forehead. "You have a fever. Maybe you should go lay down." "Nah. It's just this darn headache bothering me, it's also a beautiful day maybe some fresh air will help." He walks back up stairs to most likely get changed. "Keep and eye on him for me?" I nod and wait at the bottom of the stairs for him. It takes awhile but he comes downstairs, and strangely without his hat. "You forgot your hat." He groans again."I know it was hurting my head so I'll pass today." We walk outside and the sight is breathtaking. It's so beautiful. We walk into the woods and we find a nice log and sit. "So what's your journal say about this wish creature were gonna find tomorrow?" He opens the journal and searches for the page. He finds and begins reading. "The Kan.. Kran.. Kantray? Is a creature of unknown origin or reason. If you find the magic stone that glows on blue moons he will appear and grant the finder one wish and someone of his choosing a wish. For the second person they will receive their wish on the next full moon. Use extreme caution when wishing. Take your time and wish for something useful. Don't let anger or revenge cloud your judgement. Think clearly then say it to the beast." We sit silently staring at the picture of the beast. It's very tall and thin, it looks like it might glow but it's hard to be sure. "What do you think you'll wish for?" Dippers sits thinking for a second. "Maybe all the answers to the secrets to gravity falls." I nod. "I like that. You'll pick me right?" He laughs, "no... I'll pick Pacifica! Just kidding of course I'd pick you!" We sit laughing for awhile. It's good to seem him happy again. "Wanna head back?" He agrees and we begin our long walk back to the shack.
