"Hello? Hello?! Anyone here?" I'm all alone in the middle of this field. What happened? I stand up and realize I hurt my ankle somehow, I try to limp to the edge of the woods to look for a path and don't see one. It's still nighttime but it looks like the sun might be coming up. I missed like 8 hours. We left at like 9 and now it's almost morning. I think the sun rises at like 5 something. Where do I go? I head towards the east following the sun as I walk through the Forrest. I'm tired and I can barely walk so I sit down on a stump. I grab my phone from my pocket but it's smashed. I must of landed or dropped it somehow. It's hard to see what I'm doing but it's still usable. I called the house and nobody answered, of course, I should of known that. I put my phone in my candy bag and begin walking through the woods. It's not long before I can barely stand I'm so tired. I find a tree with some low branches and climb up to a thick, sturdy branch and fall asleep instantly.
I wake up to loud yelling. "Hurry up, we don't have all day!" Then my tree shakes violently. Someone is chopping this tree down. There is only one family of lumber jacks... "Stop!" I climb down carefully and see Wendy being yelled at by her dad to chop this tree down. "Mabel? What are you doing in a tree all the way out here?" Tearing up I run to her and hug her. "Wendy... I don't know how I got here but I remember waking up at dawn in the field over there. Can you guys take me home?" I look over at her dad who is impatiently waiting. Wendy also glances over at him and he waves his hand and we go. We all walk out of the woods and to their house. "Thanks." Wendy looks down at me. "No problem." She smiles and rubs my head "Your like a little sister to me, you know that right?" I nod and she laughs. It's a long walk from Wendy's house to the shack but we don't care. We casually talk about random topics that arose from others. "So how are you feeling? It was scary to see that." She frowns. "Can we not talk about that..." I agree silently and try to come up with other topics. "I like the costume, did you go trick-or-treating last night?" "Yeah, I went with... Dipper..." She stops. "You went with Dipper? He came back?!" She looks at me with confused face on. "Yeah, we went trick-or-treating then when we came back to the cart Gideon was waiting for us..." She sighs. "Well let's get back to the shack and see if he's there. I'm gonna stay here with you guys for awhile too. My dad was punishing me for staying over at your house." Eventually we get to the shack and like we expected it was empty. I almost felt like I knew he wouldn't be here. I head up to my room and sit on my bed while Wendy try's to make some lunch. I'm sitting just thinking about how he would just come and go... I never asked him what was even going on! I go downstairs after getting changed and Wendy made waffles. We eat them but she burned them slightly, I like mine soft and squishy. I finish and head into the living room and turn the tv on, The news is on. "A recent death has been connected to a missing child report. Owner Of the Mystery Shack, Stanford Pines, has been reported dead as of June 21. His grandnephew know as, Dipper Pines, was not as recently reported missing. Investigators are still trying figure out how Stanford died but if you happen to see the child, contact..." I shut it off. I don't need to hear anymore of that. Wendy had came in without me noticing and is staring at me in shock. "Stan... Is dead?" I nod, trying not to cry. "What happened?" I look at her. "Well, there is a guy, or demon, named Bill Cipher and he came here to hide from... Dipper. He wasn't doing anything wrong but Stan just attacked him. Bill shocked him and... I guess he died..." She sits down on the ground. "I remember hearing Dipper talking about him. I thought maybe he was just some bully or something..." We both laugh nervously. We hear the door open and close quietly. I creep over to the wall and see Dipper sneaking upstairs. I turn and motion for her to follow me. We crawl up the stairs and wait before entering the room. I enter and Wendy follows. "Dipper, you're back." Wendy says so quietly she's almost whispering. He turns. "Hey guys..." He sits on his bed staring emotionless at his feet. "Where were you Mabel? I was so worried, I spent all night looking for you." He says still emotionless and with no concern in his voice. It feels like he doesn't care, like he wasn't worried. "Wendy can you leave a second?" She nods and exits quietly, closing the door. "Dipper, you can't hide this from me anymore. Tell me what happened. Tell me everything." He sighs. "What's the point?" He looks up still with a blank stare. "Well, I would love to know why I woke up in the middle of the woods this morning." He frowns, why won't he just tell me what's on his mind? "Well, I'll start from when I left to find the stone. I was searching the woods when I saw Gideon and his flashlight moving around in the distance. I continued looking but I was cautious not to get his attention. I eventually found it glowing under a rock. I went back to the shack and saw Gideon had followed me to the shack. I hid under the deck but came up too early and he saw me. I quickly set the rock down and it exploded into a cloud of smoke. A large, talk, thin creature appears from the smoke and asks my wish. I'm about to ask for all the answers to this stupid town and Gideon chokes me with his stupid bolo tie." He is getting kind of emotional at least now... He is starting to tear up a little. "I don't remember my exact wish but it wasn't what I wanted..."
{Wendy's Pov}
I've been waiting here for awhile, I'm so bored. I hear yelling so I crawl up to the door. "Mabel, your being completely irrational! I can do anything now! Nothing bad has happened yet, that's why I came back. When I heard Stan died did you think id let him just be kill and Bill would get away?" There is a small silence. "Yes. Dipper, this isn't right. Just let my wish make everything back to normal or maybe just go back to before you even decided to look for it! Maybe Stan would be alive if you weren't so careless!" An eerie silence falls over the house. I can almost hear them breathing it so quiet. I slowly crawl up against the door and put my ear to it. It's not that I can't hear them, they just aren't talking. "Mabel, ease don't make me do this." I crack the door open and see Mabel holding a beaten up book over a newly lit candle. Dipper is standing impatiently, waiting for Mabel to listen to him. "Mabel I swear if you do this, I will never talk to you again." She looks so serious for once, it's kind of scary. She slowly moves the book closer to the flame and the edge catches fire. "Mabel stop!" He is begging her pretty much. She puts it out and holds it close again and points the pages towards the fire. "Mabel, please don't make me do this. I don't want it to end this way... I'm worried I'll hurt you!" She sneezes and the books slips towards the flame and is set ablaze. They scramble to put it out but the old pages all burned quickly and just an empty shell is left. "Mabel, I didn't want to do this but I cannot let you make your wish now that you destroyed our only chance." He snaps and we are all moved to a large dark room. Slide back deeper into the darkness. Dipper isn't himself anymore and whoever this is... I don't like them. His eye glow a vibrant green and he shoots into the air, hovering like 6 feet off the ground. Mabel is helplessly laying on the ground begging him to stop. "Mabel. I can't let you male that wish. This is the only way." Tears flow down his face as he raises his hand into the air. A glowing green light appears from his hand as he points it at his helpless sister. I have to do something. I run to Mabel's side as quickly as I could.
