Do things happen to us,
or do we let them happen to us?
Circumstances are out of our control;
but we have control of attitude,
so I'll choose gratitude.
Are we victims of everything,
or are we blessed with everything?
Life can be difficult at times;
but we have an important choice,
so I will rejoice.
Is life about the destination,
or is it about the journey?
It is good to enjoy fun and friends;
we are called to love others,
to work for sisters and brothers.
