Riker's p.o.v-

Char came over and took the seat next to me. I took her hands in mine making her slightly turn to face me.

"Charlie, what makes you think that we would break up?" I asked.

She looked down and didnt answer.

"Charlie, come onnn" i said lifting her head up a little.

"I .. "

She paused and took a deep breath and continued:

"I-i dont know.. It's just no one has ever really cared about me that much to love me in that way and I've only had 3 boyfriends in my whole life and I'm 19 years old. The longest was 6 months.. No one has ever stuck around for a while. They always end up leaving and-"

"Stop. Just stop" i tried to stop her from talking but i think she was having one of those moments where you rant and let all your thoughts out after having them go yourself for a while, so i let her get it all out.

"And even my parents had to leave me, I know they didn't exactly plan on it and it wasn't their fault at all but it had to happen to me. I know i have you guys and sometimes i even push you guys away, which i dont mean to but i feel like I'm intruding and interfering with your family-"

"Charlie" i said in such a whisper without even realizing i spoke, but it got Char's attention. She looked at me.

Her legs were crossed with her arms were on her lap and her hair was kind of messy.

I lifted her up on to my lap and held her waist.

"Why would you be intruding? You are really loved by all of the family, believe me. Why wouldn't anyone love you? You're amazing, and i think my mom and dad loves you a little bit more than all of us" i said referring to my siblings and i.

She chuckled a bit.

"As for me..
I love you as both a friend and more..
I dont plan on leaving Charlie. Maybe your other relationships didn't work out because they weren't the right guy.
I love you Charlie, I'll do whatever it takes to show you that you are loved."

"You always know what to say to make me feel better, don't you?" She smiled.

"Yes, i do" i smirked.

Char's p.o.v-

Riker smirked.
He always knew what to say, he was great at that.

"Thank you for that and for always being there for me. I love you.. As more" I said whispering the last part a bit.

"I love you too Char" he smiled and sighed and started playing with my shoe laces.

It took him a second but i think he finally realized.

"Wait, what did you say?" He asked looking back at me again.

I wrapped my arms around his neck And looked at him straight in the eyes.

"I love you as more than a friend Riker" i said.
It was true, i did and I've known him most my life. I meant it when i said i love him and i liked how he could make me smile whenever and how he always knew what to say. How he didn't take life too seriously unless it was his job, friends and family.

A smile grew on his face and he tightened his arms around me bringing me into a hug.

"I have a question" he said pulling away.

"Yeah?"

"We have to go somewhere first" he said getting up from the couch which led to me landing on the floor.

"Oops" he smirked

I stuck my tongue out at him and got up.

"Bully" i fake glared.

"Cry baby" he said grabbing my legs and putting me over his shoulders.

"Dammit not again!" I whined.

"Chill dude" he chuckled and put me on the couch so i was standing on the seat.

"Get on my back" he said crouching down. I got on his back and wrapped my arms around his neck from behind so i wouldn't fall. He walked to the front door and opened it with his right hand and holding me with his left.
And out the door to the street.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see when we get there" he said.
