I almost kissed Char

I ALMOST kissed Char

I ALMOST KISSED CHAR!!

I kept saying that over and over in my head.

I could have kissed her..if Rydel didn't walk into the room.

I don't know what the hell came over me but..I just ...I just wanted to kiss her so badly.

She looked beautiful and ....I just..

I sighed and helped set up to play twister.

I couldn't help but keep looking at Char.

She caught me looking at her a couple times and I tried to pretend I wasn't but she just smiled at me.

I loved that about her.

How she could make any situation not be awkward.

I mean she's probably kind of confused right now.

Her best friend, (me) did try to just kiss her..

...

Everything was set up for Twister now.

"Okay!! Teams, me, and Char against Riker and Rocky" Rydel said excitedly.

Ross and Ryland apparently had to go shopping with mom, so they couldn't play And Ratliff was at his own house for once.

"Oh its on!" Char yelled making me laugh.

"You're going down!" I said.

"Good Luck with that dude" she smirked walking to the right side of the twister mat.

(I forgot what to call the thing you put on the floor when you play twister so I'm just gonna call it a mat.)

"Who's going first?" Rocky asked

"We will!" Rydel exclmaied.

"Spin!" She smiled at Char

Char spinned and landed on left foot blue

She put her left foot on the very end blue circle.

"Your turn" she said looking at me.

....

We played a couple rounds of Twister and we were currently on the last round.

Char had her arm under my body and one leg under my foot.

I was basically trying not to fall down on her.

"Riker, right hand yellow" Rocky said.

I slowly tried to move my hand over Char's head to put on the yellow but failed and fell on her...again.

She started laughing and her laugh being the contagious laugh it is, I started laughing. So did Rydel and Rocky.

"Get..off ..of ..me!" She yelled inbetween laughs.

I rolled over on the mat still laughing.

"I'm gonna go get some ice cream!" Rydel said chuckling and shaking her head at the two of us.

"I want ice cream too!" Rocky said following her.

I calmed down a little but had tears in my eyes from laughing too hard.

I turned over facing Char and found her already looking at me.

"Char?" I sighed

"Hmm?" She hummed.

I got up off the floor and stood up, holding out a hand for her.

She took it and stood up in front of me.

I couldn't help but look at her eyes again.

I couldn't help it..

I started leaning in again.

Char's p.o.v-

Riker started leaning in..for the second time today.

I'm not gonna lie, I do like him a little..okay maybe a little more than a little.

Okay fine. I like him a lot.

I found myself leaning in too.

Centimeters apart from kissing..

"Do you guys want-" Rocky didn't finish his sentence when walking into the room.

Riker sighed and backed away a little.

"Um" Riker said awkwardly.

Rocky didn't say anything.

He looked...hurt?

What's up with him?

"Rocky?" I said walking over to him.

He didn't answer. He just kinda stood there.

"Rocky?" I tried again.

"Uh..yeah?" He said in a cracked voice.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm great" he said blankly and ran up stairs.

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at Riker who stood there looking down.

"I'm gonna go see what that was about." I said.

He nodded and I walked up to Rocky's room.
