Jace rushed through the doors to the hospital and ran to the front desk at lightning speed. "Where's Izzy??" he asked frantically, "Where is Izzy?!" Jace kept repeatedly yelling. "Someone, tell me where my sister is!"

Simon walked up towards Jace, "Hey man, calm down."

He tried to place a hand on Jace's shoulder to comfort him, but Jace smacked his hand away, "Don't touch me, Lewis! Just tell me where she is or I won't hesitate to mess up that pretty face of yours."

"Aww, you think I'm pretty?" Simon asked, a smile on his face. When he saw Jace's hands cletnch into fists, he knew now wasn't the time to crack jokes. "Okay, just don't hit me!" Simon begged.

Jace just rolled his eyes and said, "No promises."

Simon took a deep breath and exhaled. "She just got out of surgery and is recovering. The Doctors said you can see her if you'd like, but-"

Before Simon could finish, Jace went rushing down the hall to Izzy. He came to a halt and turned around to face Simon. "What room is she in?" Jace asked, tapping his foot impatiently. "Well? What room, Simon??"

"She's in room 210 at the end of the hall on the right." Simon spat out his words, talking faster than normal.

Jace didn't bother to respond and took off down the hall and opened the door to Izzy's room. He walked in and saw her laying there with her eyes closed, peacefully sleeping. Jace walked up to her bedside and grabbed hold of her hand.

"I'm so sorry Izzy..." he squeezed her hand, "I never meant to hurt you. I just- I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't made it." His eyes started to water, but he blinked it away. "Don't you dare die on me Iz, you hear me?" Jace asked, changing his tone of voice completely.

Isabelle's eyes fluttered and she opened them to see Jace next to her, gripping her hand. "I hear you, Jace." she responded in a whisper.

Jace dropped Isabelle's hand, "Iz! Thank the Angel you're awake!!" Jace exclaimed and grabbed hold of her, pulling her into a hug.

She groaned in pain, "J-Jace..." she was out of breath.

He quickly let her go, "I'm sorry. I'm just so glad you're okay." he smiled at her and watched as she took in deep breaths.

"It's alright. I'm fine, Jace. There's no need to worry." she tried reassuring him, but he just stood there and watched her, never taking his eyes off her.

...

Magnus couldn't believe his eyes. Alec was right in front of him. "Alec!! Is it really you..?" he asked him, unable to believe what was right in front of him.

Alec placed his hand on Magnus's face and he leaned onto it. "Yes, Magnus. It's really me." Magnus quickly pulled Alec in for a hug and pulled him closer, no space between their bodies.

When they finally let go of one another, Alec noticed Magnus's tear stained face and had to ask him, "Magnus...what's going on with you?"

He just lowered his head, unable to look Alec in the eyes at that moment. "It's nothing to worry about, Alexander. I'm fine." he said, finally looking up at him.

"Really, Magnus? It didn't seem like you were a second ago when you were crying, saying how sorry you were in your sleep!"

Magnus smiled at Alec, "Oh, don't be dramatic, Alexander. I said I'm fine." Magnus got out of the chair and walked towards the couch and saw the blood stains. He turned around to face Alec who was still by the chair, "I'm more worried about you. What were you thinking, Alexander??"
