Destination Fear - Dakota Laden

You sit on the floor, Tanner watching Alex and Chelsea fixing up their cameras, You just sat watching everyone fussing about. You smile watching how Dakota looks over Chelsea and tanner. You understood that the team all had childhood links to each other,you met the lads when you were 14 and the others were 17,you had  fell into the lake after being chased by your old bullies.the boys had jumped to protect you as they kept the bullies away.  You were then the baby of the group who they looked out for.

You hear Dakota begin the investigation as you stand up.It went smoothly with small noises here and there. The others didn't really think it was that haunted but you thought differently,the air was heavy and you felt on edge. After deciding on what rooms to sleep in you lay down on the ground in the basement. An hour you lay silently,you begin to fall asleep untill you feel a hand on your leg.Freezing your halt your breath and you reach your hand out,trying to find your walkie talkie. You feel the hand leave your leg as you begin  screaming  as you hear foot steps leave your area. With in seconds you hear shouting and running footsteps. "LIZZY IM COMING" in your moment of fear you don't recognise the voice and you stand up running towards where the person is coming from. Frantically you run into a hard chest as the tears run down your face. "What happened" the voice said lowly,the obvious sound of worried in their voice. You look up to see Dakotas shimmering eyes looking down at you. His once slicked back hair was now down his face,framing it perfectly. Without thinking your arms go around his neck as you hug him. You feel him scanning the camera around the room. Suddenly the door to the boiler cupboard slams shut with force.Dakota lets out a low shout as he grabs you tighter. "There's shit going down in the basement get down here" he says into the walkie talkie. You don't remove your face from his body. "It touched my leg and when it moved I heard clear footsteps walking out of the room" you say,letting your tears calm down to the soothing voice of the older boy. Within minutes everyone's down in the basement as you start a digital recording. You sit beside Chelsea on the floor,across from Dakota,Tanner and Alex. "Did you touch Lizzy" tanner says and listens to it quickly when he heard a low "yes" making you shiver. The questions continue and you soon switch to the oculus, "why did you touch Lizzy" Dakota says outloud,you detected a type of demanding tone which was unusual for him. Whilst blanking out as you watch Dakota suddenly everyone begins shouting,snapping you out of it. "OH MY GOD" Chelsea shouts to the camera she was holding. Looking down at the equipment you see what they were shouting at,after that question it had replied with the words 'female' then 'touch'. You feel your heartbeat drop as you go silent, the silence is broke by a scream from the room behind you. "Okay we are done! I'm ending this" Dakota shouts as you all grabs your cameras and equipment as you begin leaving the room. You feel a hand touch your shoulder making you scream. "ITS TOUCHING ME!" You scream as you all begin running. As you run out of the entrance onto the front patio, you see tanner kneel to the ground panting. Within seconds of you putting your camera on the wall,facing you,you are engulfed in a hug.you instantly recognise the scent as you rest your head onto Dakotas chest. You feel another set on arms as Chelsea joins in on the hug.slowly everyone joined in as we all hugged each other. Without any words you all split, and silently begin packing the RV. Sitting inside on the seating,Alex's starts rolling as you all begin to discuss what happened.you tell them what happened to you. "I heard her screaming from the 2nd floor and I don't know how I made it down there that fast" Dakota laughs. He shows you the footage of him hearing you. You watch as he lays on his bag,he jumps up immediately the camera as he begins sprinting down the halls and stairs. You hear the fear in his voice as he shouts your name. "You look terrified" tanner says watching the video. Dakota seemed tense as we all speak,ending the show,you all lean back as the RV begins driving. You go to speak to Dakota but you see him staring out the window with his headphones in. not wanting to disturb him you stand up,walking off. Confused to why he reacted so quickly and harshly. The way he got down the stairs so quickly.How he spoke aggressively to the digital recorder.How he was so tense. You were confused.
