I watched as you fell out of love,
and I swear this is how it would exactly feel like falling in a bottomless abyss: terrifying and dark.
Would it have made a difference if I cried?
Would it have made a difference if I begged for you to stay?
But I already know the answer...
No matter how hard I would have tried,
you were already too far gone.
You might as well have just thrown me in that abyss yourself,
because falling down the shaft and ending up on its floor,
would have hurt less...
