Chapter 15

Jai's POV

My wolf started cussing me out mentally as Selene got into that car and drove away with another guy. Another wolf. Who just so happened to be Evans. Humans can be so stubborn. Well... at least I think she's human. She can't be wolf. I would've been able to smell that out already.

After I couldn't even hear the car anymore I turned around and headed back toward the school.

I walked into an empty classroom, and atomically recognized all the faces.

The three elders (my grandfather, his beta, and their TIC), my father (which is still alpha right now), my mother (which is Luna still right now), my fathers beta (Peters dad, Tom) and TIC(Third in command) (Jake's dad, Lucius), Peter, and Jake.

They were all talking around a meeting table, and when I walked in, everyone went silent. My father began to look at me sternly, while everyone else's were serious.

I bowed my head respectfully at the elders and my father, then took my seat inbetween Peter and Jake.

"Time to get to business.. " my father started off. "We need to spread out and send out more of our guards. Full moon pack is getting to close for my liking. My spys tell me they're training earlier now, from 9 years up. Double time for the older ones. Not to mention they're teens take up a little more than 2/5s of this school. Which means if they wanted to they would take over this part of the territory. Both of our packs have decided to share it for the sake of the humans and the education of our children." With that said he looked at me. And I decided to put in my opinion.

"Yes. But doesn't that also mean they wouldn't even consider taking over the school except for a last resort, especially because the humans." I said not as a question, but matter of factly.

He started to stair me down, pretty questionably to.

Selene's POV

While we were waiting for food, all we did was talk.  It was weird, he wasn't asking about what was going on. And in the middle of thought I remember the text I received from him this morning. The one saying he had more information on my situation.

"So. You said you had more info on you know who and you know what?" I stated.

"Oh yea. But also don't you need to tell me something? You didn't tell me all that was going on yesterday. What are you hiding?"

"Ugh..fine. You know i hate it when you do that."

"Do what?"

"Reading my mind. Ok so he ran into me yesterday while i was trying to find my way around the school. Jace (my wolf) started acting all...hm... bubbly. I guess is a word for it. I noticed he was a wolf so i showed some of how much it pissed me off. It kinda confused me with the way he was acting.-"

*What do you mean?*

"He was all grumpy until he looked into my eyes. And he started to not be a jerk like how he had started off. And when i saw those emerald green orbs, I felt my stomach do a flip." I just continued, only now noticing what i refused to when i was with Jai. The things i felt. "I noticed a lot when it came to him. Like how he thinks im human. But anyways. What did you find out?"

"Besides the obvious, like how he's from  New Moon pack, his name is Jai Reynolds, he's alpha to be, almost 19. There's his father, alpha John Reynolds. His mother Luna Ann Reynolds. His fathers beta, Peter's dad, Tom. His fathers TIC, Jake's dad, Lucius. Peter his soon to be beta, and Jake as soon to be TIC. Not to mention his past."

"His past?"

"Yea. Well, we were in the same year. He never really payed close attention to anything except girls and fights ect. He was a player. He was also the reason i had gotten suspended from school for a month."

"Why? You don't usually let people get to you that easily." I said, worried about what the reason was.

At this, he looked down at his coffee and his face contorted with depression. "For Madie..." he mumbled, but only loud enough so I could hear it.
