"Hey." A guy said standing behind a girl. The guy was just looking for directions
"Yes?" The blonde asked turning around.
"Uhhh...sorry your eyes... there just..."
"Blue. Yeah that's what most people notice about me right hit."
"Uh sorry didn't mean to be rude I... uh.. my names Finneas."
"Vanessa. You seem lost?" The girl's angelic voice ringing through the air as the people of New York began to be drown out as the two talked.
"Uh yeah uh me and my little sister are here for a business meeting and.. uhh well.. I can't seem to find her."
"I'm a detective where was the last place you seen her." Vanessa questioned in a worried tone.
"Uh no no.. oh my god that is not what I meant I just can't find the hotel my mom and her went to." Finneas said laughing it off.
"Oh no it's my fault I take everything so serious nowadays." Vanessa replied laughing as well.
"Uh well first of all what's the name of the hotel?"
"Hilton."
"Uh okay well your actually two blocks away just keep going that way." Vanessa said pointing behind her.
"Oh my god thank you so much." Finneas said. As Vanessa took out a card with her name and number on it.
"Uh this is awkward um I'm in a relationship." Finneas said looking at her.
"Yeah and I'm a very gay cop."
"Oh my god I normally don't just assume like that it's just.."
"I don't look gay. Yeah I've heard that before. I am giving you my number where you can call and ask for directions form a friend and not a random person in New York. Some advice don't go up to a random person in New York not unless you have some kind of way out if things go south." Vanessa said smiling
"Oh thank you so much."
"Hey there you are." Bright said coming up behind Vanessa.
"Hey bro. Finneas this is Bright my brother, Bright meet my new friend here Finneas he was lost helping him find his way." Vanessa explained to Bright.
"Oh well I'm glad my sister could help look we have a murder- not to comment but to solve wow first impressions suck huh?" Bright said tripping over his words
The three started lagging as Finneas' phone began to ring.
"Wow uh that's my sister well it was really nice meeting you I'll definitely call if I need help." Finneas said as he began to walk away.
"He seemed nice." Bright said walking her to were the crime seen was.
"Yeah."
