"Your here!"

              Vanessa's POV
6 hours and 20 minutes later. We were in LA. The city of angels. Yet why do I feel it has demons to?
"We are here." Dani sighed
"Yep." Bright said happily. He was to excited about this.
"Your here!" I herd Finneas' voice ring it seemed out of nowhere as I was walking out of the terminal. I turned my head to the voice and he was running towards me. He held out his arms as I jumped on him.
"Ow." He cried as I got off him.
"Oh I missed you so much it's not even funny." I said as I saw Claudia approaching us.
"Claudia!" I screamed possibility making Finneas go deaf shoving him out of the way.
"Ow that hurt damn." Finneas said as I hugged Claudia.
"Hey girl I missed you."
"Hey I missed you too." Finneas got up from the ground going towards a girl wearing baggy clothes. And she was so short. But beautiful.
"Essa I'd like to meet my sister Billie."
"It's nice to meet you." She said. Her voice could make me go to sleep instantly.
"It's nice to meet you to. Finneas has told me so much about you." I said. I am glad I didn't stumble over my words. Keep in mind she's 18. Your 23. And no that's not bad but a lot of people would see it that way.
"All good I hope."
"Yeah all good."
Bright came up to me hugging Finneas and then Claudia.
"It's nice to see you all again."
"You too man." 
"Any way the captain in LA said that we will meet tomorrow and talk about how we wanna go forward with this."
"What's there to talk about. I told you on the plan how this is gonna work." I said looking Bright in the eyes. Apparently when I'm mad my eyes go to a darker shade of blue. Whatever that means.
"Yeah you told me. Not him." I rolled my eyes. 
"Wait."I was forgetting something. But what.
"My gun."
"Your gun will be here tomorrow." I herd Gal's voice ring behind me.
"Tomorrow?" Dani questioned. Dani has been my friend since the police academy. She has helped me through a lot and now she is dating my brother. How weird is that.
"Yeh tomorrow?" J.T. Also questioned. J.T. Is another team member of ours and friend. We are all good friends outside of the police station.
"We are here to catch someone and they want us to go out without any guns?" J.T. said.
"There is no 'going out' until tomorrow when we are meeting up with the team that was on the case to see how far they got. And then they will give us our guns back. It's just a safety per caution." Gal said. Gal was like a dad to me and Bright. He was the cop that arrested our dad. We don't resent him for it. We actually got close to him after to thank him.
"That's bull shit." I said mad as hell because I haven't been without my baby for Five years. Yes a 15 year old had a gun. So? Gal was the one who gave it to me. And I've had it ever since.
"Watch your mouth." Gal said.
"Look I'm on her side on this one boss. I don't trust LA people." J.T. Said.
"I thought you grew up here." Dani questioned.
"That's why."
I rolled my eyes and then looked at Dani and J.T. To follow me. I walked them to a little corner away from Bright and the others. Bright is a profiler. So there 'is no reason for him to have a gun.'
"Brah I'm not staying a single night here without my gun." J.T. Said.
"Me either." Dani said both of them looking at me.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Work your magic on him." Dani said. Pointing to Gal.
"Look I don't like it either but we are here now. And besides we will get them back tomorrow. And what did you expect trust some random person with a gun to cross state borders on a plane with a gun?"
"No but-" I cut J.T. Off
"No buts just sleep with one eye open by any chance the stalker will start to keep an eye on us too." I explained.
"Ok." They both agreed not that I like it either witch I don't. But what good is arguing going to do. I don't like it. But it's one night.
"Ok you three done scheming?" Gal questioned.
"Your lucky I even talked to them J.T. Is about to snap."
"I. Don't. Like. L. A."
"Why?" Finneas questioned.
"I grew up here. My dad went to jail for something he didn't do and LA people are bitches." J.T. Explained.
"Not everyone is like that." Billie tried to reason.
"I still don't like it sorry no offense to you or anyone you know I just don't..I don't know."
"It's ok. I don't like New York." Finneas said. J.T. Laughed.
"Well hotel bunks and mates." Gal started.
"Bright and Dani. J.T. And me. Vanessa you ok with being alone?"
"I'm always ok with being alone." I said.
"I feel you." Billie said smiling at me.
"You two are so alike." Finneas said.
"Haha. Oh no there's two. Anyway I'm tired and going to... what hotel?" Bright asked.
"The Westin Bonaventure." Gal said
"Are you sure. Because that place is very expensive." Finneas said as Billie and Claudia shook there head agreeing with him.
"Well considering me and Vanessa are kinda 'rich' and put all five of our paychecks together... we can pay for at least 1 month in there." Bright said
"Wow how much do y'all make... I'm sorry that was rude." Billie said.
"No no um between $55,180 to $103.330 give or take I explained."
"Oh cool."
"Yep." Dani said coming into the convention again.
"Well how about we go somewhere to get to know each other more." Gal added.
"Yeah before one of my fans notices me." Billie said. Her voice made me wanna smile.
Dude she's 18 your a cop. You know how looks. Your 23.- I know it's not like she's one into girls. Two I'm so fucked up she wouldn't want me. As I argued with the voice in my head I zoned out on a guy watching us closely. I'll keep my eye out for you.
