I ran my fingers through my hair, which was something I've been doing quite often lately. I sighed and rested my head on my hands. I just sat thinking about the events that happened today, completely forgetting about the paper works stacked on my desk.

After Evie told me that Mal went back to the Isle, I wasn't able to concentrate much. She left and its all my fault.

It's all my fault...

I heard a knock on my door, as I lift my head to the direction of it. I mumble a 'come in' to be faced with Fairy Godmother looking at me with a worried expression, something that's odd to see, because she's usually so happy.

"King Ben, I'm afraid I have some bad news." She says slowly. I sighed in response.

"Great." I quietly mumble, but she didn't seem to hear it. I gesture for her to carry on.

"There has been a powerful magical energy surge in one of the towns nearby, and it wiped out the towns entire population." She says and I looked at her with my mouth open in shock.

"What? When did this happen?" I ask worriedly.

Who or what was behind this?

"It happened last night, but it took me just now to know where it occurred. With Carlos' help of course. The cause of the surge is still unkno-" Fairy Godmother was about to finish but was interrupted when Carlos suddenly barged in the room.

"Fairy Godmother! Ma'am! Fairy Godmother!" He urgently says as he pants, holding his laptop.

"I found security cameras that filmed what happened." He says as he shows her the video, I stand up and move closer to the both of them to also see.

On the video you could see a police car with three police officers tasing a boy, most likely our age, while the other two was restraining a girl, our age too, and pushing a dog away. Suddenly the girl fell to her knees and screamed, we see purple energy come out from her hands as it envelops different objects to make it float, one police officer was also held up in the air. The people began to scream and run in panic, the girl then looks up to see the police officer she held up then looked at her hands. The four police men then shot at her, but the bullets don't hit her for it just floats in front of her, covered with the same purple mist. She tried to stand but immediately fell down and screamed, a burst of purple suddenly rushed out of her, that's when the video turned black.

The three of us stand there speechless. The silence was broken when Fairy Godmother cleared her throat and looked at me.

"It is my recommendation for her to be sent to the Isle, power like that has to be contained. And it also seems that she has no control over it." I hesitate to agree but nevertheless nod in agreement. Carlos just continues to watch the video.

"She'll be sent there later this afternoon. I will look for her destination and bring her there myself, good day children!" She was serious for a moment but returned to her bubbly self at the end. She then walked out the room.

"Hey Carlos." I said to get his attention, but he's still looking at the girl in the video.

"Hey, excuse me?" I say again, but he's still looking at the girl. Almost like his hypnotized or something.
