AEDION POV
Well we all saw what Rowan and how he spoke to Aelin , i literally had to keep my hands on lysandra's shoulders to prevent her from turning into a ghost leopard and leaping onto The fae prince . From the cormer of my eye i could see dorian held back by nesryn and yrene , he looked very angry as he cares about Aelin and when the fae prince was ranting about how she was a coward i saw something snap in dorian as he knew about how nehemia had called Aelin a coward , chaol looked like he was about to murder Prince Rowan and impale him onto the gates of this high school . The whole gang was mad at him for saying such a thing to Aelin who was extremely selfless already .
Aelin then ignored the faerie warrior and with nothing but emptiness in her eyes of turquoise and gold twinned to mine left the school with her bike keys , no helmet but she still left the school with her usual swagger  but her eyes gave away her true feelings
Rowan's own cadre were a bit uneasy around him , one by one the three left him and went on their own paths as Gavriel the tawny eyed one left for lunch, elide stormed off with Lorcan in tow and Fenrys left whilst humming some tune and shaking his head in disbelief of what Rowan did . I left with the rest of the gang all of us giving Rowan glares made of daggers . We left the warrior brute alone , the hallways became empty as students one by one left rowan in the hall in disappointment .
AELIN POV
I left the school grounds with a bit of swagger but my eyes were telling the truth of how i was feeling , keeping the burning in my eyes at bay , but as soon as i started my bike and drove off leaving nothing but trails of dust behind the sobs hit me and soon i was weeping and sobbing remembering the night ten years ago when i woke up in my parents bed to the screaming of the maid , my parent's throats sliced from ear to ear , the death of sam seeing how the sadist had cut his body up, nehemia's death how they had marred her body leaving screams and scars in their wake with every cut they made , every burn. All the deaths that had happens because of her . Nehemia's wordings still rang in her ears like a never ending waterfall. She didn't know where she was going until she came up to a familiar apartment in the slums of Rifthold, where she and Sam were to stay When she payed their debts after she came from the desert . She entered with the key that was key chained to the bike keys and in she went . The familiar scent of Sam hit her which was locked up in this house since the death of Sam , she went into her and sam's bedroom and collapsed on the bed weeping whilst crying out his name again and again . No she was strong enough to handle all of this but rowan's wordings had hit home to deeply , it was HER fault . Then out of nowhere she heard "Fireheart why do you cry" it was her mom she could see her mom as ner mother caressed her face gently and repeated again " Fireheart why do you cry" , and then she replied " because mother I am lost and i dont know what to do" .
And then she fell asleep
ROWAN POV
One moment i was there screaming at Aelin the next was her walking out with her swagger and the next was everyone looking at me with disgust and were simply scowling and the next was me alone in the hallway as I heard a familiar bike leaving the school grounds . After recalling what i had done i regretted every single sentence that i spat on her face , i felt guilt overwhelming me and with simple devastation written across my face i slumped and collapsed on my locker and sat down with my knees foldeand head down and after a while i fell on the ground  , silver lining my eyes and then darkness embraced me and i had a severe head ache .
AELIN POV
While i was enjoying the bit of sleep i got while sleeping and inhaling Sam's scent , I  out of nowhere felt a throbbing pain in my head which was unusual or fine since   i slept while crying so i guess it was fine and i then got up remembering i had to attend a school event and i got up took a bath and quickly wore one of Sam's shirts which came up to my mid thighs and wore my denim  black shorts underneath and put on my boots  and left the apartment to leave for school since i left my other stuff there .
I reached school and went in to find the hallways less crowded since everyone was practically leaving to get ready for the event , but lets say i went to my locker which was in the other hallway and the hall way would be empty simce my batch always leaves quickly i went in there and as i went close to my locker-
I saw rowan lying there unconscious and tears lining his eyes and i felt worried since i never saw this silver haired bastard even close to crying , i shook him while continuously calling out to him and telling him to wake up since he had to get ready for the event , no doubt he told me to stay away from him but i wasn't this harsh that i wouldn't help anyone who was randomly lying near my locker with tears in their eyes , I forcefully made him sit up i took out my waterbottle and splashed somewater in his face and he jolted and woke up .
"Where am I ?"
"Hey you okay prince"
ROWAN POV
"Hey are you okay"
I opened my eyes and saw Aelin Ashryver Galathynius crouched over me with concern lining her features, she was wearing different clothes than her basic black attire , she was wearing a plain white shirt that was loose on her and was wearing black denim shorts which had chains on it as well and was wearing her black combat boots as usual . Her shirt actually caught me off guard  since it was too big and her scent wasn't her usual lemon , jasmine  verbena it was intwined with an unusual scent of cocoa and warm chocolate. Did she m-mate ?...
" hey Prince Are you okay like really really okay"
"Yeah"
"Dont bother to lie" she insisted and gave me her hand to get up
I didn't know i was staring at her outstretched hand until,
"You know you can take it , I wont bite !"
I took her and pulled my self up but well things got a bit weird  as  i tried to pull myself but my weight pulled her down and i realised she fell on me and i was holding her waist  for a moment or two or even longer than that i swear we stayed like that gazing in each others eyes until she cleared her throat and got my attention ,as i got a chance i checked her neck but found no claiming marks or anything that could represent mating . Well idk . She got off me and we both stood up and i offered to drop her home or anywhere she wanted to go and apologised as well , she accepted that i could drop her all i wished was now that if anyone saw us leaving together we would be in serious drama. I carefully led her outside and put her bike in the trunk and then we left . We arrived outside her house and she left with a goodbye hug and a kiss on the cheek???..
i was lit gazing as she walked and i helped her getting the bike in the garage  and then she went in and turned to wave . And i felt happy for once but still worried if her boyfriend or whoever's scent she was wearing found out about today would they be mad and is that guy treating her well  and i went home to get ready and hoped i would see her .
AELIN POV
After Rowan dropped me home i went in and made some ramen while thinking of how unusually kind and soft his eyes were as he looked at me  with such gentleness that my heart began racing . How he had apologised and offered her to take her anywhere she possibly wanted and how he had talked to her hilariously with sarcasm in his deep voice . Why did he hide this face of his
