AELIN POV

My eyes fluttered open as soon as i heard a light knock on the door. and the door opened and in barged the silver-haired faerie prince . his royal highness Prince Rowan Whitethorn of Doranelle. " Aelin change and come downstairs you have some work to do i will introduce you." and he threw some clothes onto the dresser and left the room . i got up and changed into the clothes he left , the undergarments and the plain green shirt with black pants and boots that belonged to her were shining clean. and so i left my hair open then left for downstairs, i then saw Rowan grumpily standing and then he took me to the kitchen where he asked an older man to come towards them .
"This is Emrys , Emrys this is your new scullery maid ." rowan gave a simple introduction and looked towards her to tell her that i should introduce myself .
"My name is Elentiya." I blandly said and tried to force some light onto my face while talking with the kind-hearted man . And after an introduction or two i began chopping onions standing beside luca and was randomly talking on the difference between sweet and savoury food. And after some while rowan took me  to a temple a bit away from mistward and gave me  a single order. Shift.
And I tried to reach into my cocoon if power which was supposed to be in my heart but i found nothing but sadness. And so i didnt shift while he kept telling me to making both of us fight. And we then parted ways. I stormed back into the kitchen to find everyone settling for dinner and emrys asked me to sit down and eat so i trying to be polite accepted his mere request and ate with luca him and his mate. And then began the storytelling as Emrys was a story keeper and they all sat down by him and listened and i stood in the corner not bothering. And after a while went to bed ignoring the prince who was standing in the corner and went to my room and opened the door to see fenrys pacing in my room , i was shocked and quickly shut the door locking it and i asked him what happened .
"Dorian is safe Aelin but-
"But what calm down and speak." Aelin softly replied.
"He is safe but i got a letter from him this morning he said that Erawan is getting his troopes ready in Morath waiting for your Arrival. And he said there is less time and that the lock needs to be forged and sent a letter for you." Fenrys told her,and handed over the letter to which she tore open and saw the contents of it.
Dear Aelin ,
I hope you receive this and well the time is going by quickly that day i couldn't thank yo much for saving me . Tell Maeve i send my regards, i owe you a-lot if i speak informally . I have gathered the Adarlan's remaining Armada and through a battle of speaking and fighting i have regained my crown , got crowned yesterday as king but erawan (Perrington) isn't standing down and has asked me to surrender yesterday a small fight happened in the vaults i had it checked out , the scouts tell me people were rebelling against morath and had fought and murdered all the guards coming from morath or those who were left behind after Chaol had the guards do a sweep of the city and shackling all the morath troops . Elena visited once again saying that the lock needs to be forged no matter what and that nameless is the price. I hope you return , kick rowan for me and Aelin thank you for saving us and giving it your all . And i freed the slaves from Endovier and Calculla and other death camps , in the name of Aelin Ashryver Galathynius who once accompanied them as Celaena Sardothien and killed an overseer. And believe me they all cheered for you and your name has been chanted everywhere, though Aedion is mad at you for leaving but our troops are gathering and Aelin kill Maeve once and then lets recreate this world.

"Oh my god! Fenrys leave the room , you are her blood-sworn." And i shoved him out of the room after thanking him for bringing me the letter. Oh thank the gods Dorian was okay and thankfully after the multiple letters she sent the lords of adarlan to crown him because war will be waging soon and death will be lurking in every street and corner. So they had to listen or will be dead through a cold blooded murder and when they asked why i told them because the world will recreated by dreamers and the darkness will be defeated by light so they finally listened when I sent him back. Oh I would kick rowan all dorian would want. What were best friends for actually. And no I would not send a reply because I would go back herself with an army as a reply and kill Erawan and myself when i would forge the lock, and even Dorian wouldn't be able to stop me because they all deserved a good life and I didn't and I would fight the darkness willingly to ensure a good life for all of them . So I stormed out of the room heading to kick rowan and eat because all this plotting had made me  feel hungry , I saw rowan and Emrys chatting seriously and stealthily with hushed footsteps approached rowan and kicked him in the legs making his knees wobble and he was on his knees within a moment and I sat down on his shoulder putting all my weight and smirked and howled with laughter , and a snarl came from rowan and a silent order to get down too. And I didn't listen to his blabbering and sat there like a queen. And then i got of hitting him once again with a roundhouse kick and then proceeded to the kitchen to find something.
So as I opened the cabinets to find food i saw nothing but a tonne of ingredients and felt upset because in all my years in Adarlan, i only knew simple recipes and nothing much. And then someone walked in the door i turned to see luca and pouted after asking him to make me some food to which he delightfully agreed . So the latter cooked me food while i sat and sang songs on the top of my lungs . Luca passed the food to me which turned out to be banana bread in a plate and kept the rest on the counter , i ate half of it before i went to actually sleep. And once again like in routine the prince barged in forgetting that yes i have privacy or anything. And we were once again sitting and he was asking me to shift , an order that i was not obeying and we began arguing.i out of the blue then felt something on my neck to see the prince had bitten me there and now stood smirking and with light spreading i shifted into my faerie form anger rippling of me and growled at him.
"Ahh here you are Aelin." He said to me still towering me . And i snarled at him.
And pushed him away .
