Alex woke up with a gasp. It took her a minute to realise she was no longer outside by the docks but in her bedroom. She slowly let her breathing become steady again and looked around the room to find her sister curled up in a chair next to her bed.
She had no idea what had happened or how long she'd even been out for. All she remembers is closing her eyes at the docks and then waking up in her dorm room.
Swinging her legs over the side of her bed she carefully looked at the clock on her nightstand. 6:00am. Sighing she pushed herself up of her bed groaning slightly at the pain.
The fuck had happened? Why did it feel like she'd just been hit by a truck? She quickly glanced back at her sister, who's soft snores seemed to fill the room. She wasn't about to wake her up any time soon even if it did look like the most uncomfortable position ever.
Walking around the room she grabbed her gym bag that was already filled with her workout clothes and shoved some wash stuff inside and her clothes for the day. Alex decided it would be best to use the shared showers. Best to let her sister sleep.
As she walked into the gym ready to start training, she saw Raf standing there looking dazed. Surrounded by the rest of the pack.
"WATCH IT" Alex yelled as the ball came flying straight towards Raf's head.
"that almost took your head off" Jed looked at Raf slightly concerned. Are they finally getting along? Alex looked at the two of them with a small smile.
"Yo, how long have I been here?"
"for an hour. But you've been going through the motions like a zombie. You sure you're okay?" clearly no one had noticed her prescience yet, well no one that really talked to her. That being Raf and Jed. She did get on with most of the wolves, but it was no secret that majority of them where scared of her, but that was to be expected.
"yeah, I'm fine. And look you don't need to pretend like you give a crap about me just 'cause I'm your alpha" well maybe they weren't getting along.
"the games back on." Raf snatched the ball out of Jess hands
"Mind if I join" Alex then spoke up. Raf's head span around to meet Alex and he dropped the ball on the ground running up to her pulling her into a tight hug.
She smiled at Raf who just run up to her pulling her into a tight hug. They pulled away and rested there foreheads on each other.
"you're okay"
"yeah why wouldn't I be?" Raf pulled away fully
"al, you've been out for a week?" he noticed the confusion that plastered across her face.
"shit really?"
"yeah"
"well then, I need to exercise" Alex smirked giving him a quick peck on the lips and grabbing the ball he had dropped. She didn't want to think about how her didn't have any memory of the last week just yet.
