Many idols have been special guests to help trainees on competitive shows to improve dancing or even singing and rapping.
On the show both boys and girls were separated into different groups to train to sing, rap, and dance together, like a rookie idol group and compete against other trainees in performances to be judged.
In an a couple episodes previous the male and female trainee groups competed to have first choices on which infamous Idol groups they'd like to do a performance cover to. There were various song choices from boy groups like NCT, EXO, Winner, BigBang, and of course BTS. And female groups like Twice, Red Velvet, G-IDLE, Mamamoo and so on.
Male and female trainee groups could pick from whichever they'd like, boy trainees could choose a girl group song and girls could choose a boy group song to cover if they'd like.
The way it was divided was each group would send a member from their team to run up to a board and choose a group they'd like to cover, which meant the fastest team got first pick.
After the race a male group and female group had chosen to cover BTS, which was a tough fight since many other groups also wanted to perform to a song of theirs.
The groups were then given 3-4 days to learn the choreography and formations, as well as divide their parts as to which members will take a certain member from the idol groups position.
The next day on the show the groups had shown up into the medium theater like room which had seats that faced a stage where they can all sit.
"4 days ago you all chose your idol groups that you will be doing your covers of, for the semi-finals. Now you will have a week to perfect your performance." All the trainees look slightly nervous as it meant they had to perfect their vocal stabilization when they dance. As well as perfect their choreography in just one week, otherwise they would be sent home.
"Since then you've been learning your choreography and I hope by now you have most of it down." The host says.
"But today we have a very very special guest, and I think you guys will all be really surprised." The female host chuckled as the trainees all get excited.
As the trainees all avert their attention to who enters they marvel completely, some of them cheer, others simply gasp in shock, all reactions just in awe of who walks onto the stage. In walking to the center is none only then.....
"Annyeonghaseyo jeonun Bangtan Sonyeondan Park Hana imnida." (Hello I am BTS' Hana Park) The female member of the global sensation group bows introducing herself formally. She looks to the trainee groups in front of her and begins bowing to all of them. Some of them zone out not knowing how to react to it at all.
