I wandered into the supermarket to get my daily essentials. I was sixteen and lived by myself since my parents died in a car crash. That's what someone told me, but I believed them. I hope I haven't fallen for a lie.
I was in the meat isle, searching for a meat that I could cook before getting pushed by a group of girls running.
I cussed to myself, overlooking where they were in such a hurry to and I saw them surrounding a tall woman with a camera infront of her.
A more shorter girl clung onto her as I quickly turned my head, ignoring the scene, to pick up a pack of meat.
I made my way over to the fruits since I didn't have any left and saw them making their way over to me.
"Hi! Uh..where are your parents?" The taller girl questioned, putting her camera down to the side of her for a while.
"I don't have any.." I responded.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Well, what's your name?"
"Naeun Eden Park-Manoban" She answered and the shorter girl next to her froze, but the taller girl had the same expression on her face.
"N-Naeun? P-Park M-Manoban?" The shorter girl stuttered as I nodded, furrowing my eyes brows in query of why she was so surprised at my name.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Park Chaeyoung, this is my best friend, Kim Jisoo" Chaeyoung's smile lingered as Jisoo waved slightly at me, almost nervously which was not the way she acted before.
"I'd like to treat you to dinner. Are you able to come this evening?" Chaeyoung questioned as I was taken back by her question.
"I'm just worried about how you're living" She commented as I was more worried about her friend.
"Sure" I stated blankly and she smiled even brighter if she could.
"Alright. I'll give you my number, so you can text me your address. We'll pick you up" Chaeyoung responded as I nodded.
She gave me a card that had their details stated clearly. I placed it in my pocket before quickly making my way off and away to pick up fruits.

"Did you know the girl?" Chaeyoung questioned me as she brushed her blonde locks carefully.
She had just changed into the attire for the dinner tonight, a light-blue polka dot dress.

"Why would I know her? We just met her" I chuckled slightly, in order for her to not claim my nervousness so easily.
"Just wondering, you seemed shocked to hear her name" She responded, looking at me through the mirror as I searched for clothes to wear.
