The drive back home felt long the aura filled with tension and animosity. Ari was sprawled out in the back of the car snoring. While Liv head rested on the cold tinted windows of Vant's brand new Telsa. It felt like it had been forever since her and Vant was actually by themselves although Ari was in the back seat it felt as if it was just the two of them. Vant pulled on a wood looking straight ahead as if he was focused and deep into thought. What was he thinking about? Was he upset that Ari was drinking? Or maybe it was because they stayed out past curfew. Liv sighed and quickly glanced at Vant. He was so handsome even when he upset he was perfect she had never seen anything like it. Not even the guy that she had flirted with earlier that night made her her stomach fill with butterflies the way that Vant did. He was unmatchable, the vibe he gave her was  unreplaceable and unbeknownst to Liv Vant felt the same exact way.

"You too good for these niggas Liv you know that right"? Vant stated sincerely breaking the long silence. Liv picked her head up from off the window and turned to face her attention to Vant. "I mean yes I know that" Liv replied quietly trying to figure out why he had made that comment. So this is what this was all about, not Ari or even them staying out night to drink. It was about her and the guy that approached her. Was he jealous? Liv thought shocked that she was even capable of having this type of affect on him. Vant didn't wear his heart on his sleeve, you couldn't tell how he felt unless he admitted it. Vant was a very insensitive person when it came to his very own emotions and feelings.

"I don't think that you do because if you did you wouldn't even be rapping with niggas" he replied finishing the wood and putting it out into the ashtray. "You out at parties all in niggas faces. These nigga no good ima be the first to tell you dat. You a good girl Olivia and you don't need to be distracted by these niggas out here real shit I don't like that at all I'm not even gone front". This time making eye contact with her for what seemed like forever. Vant massaged his temples  then pointed at her attire.

"I mean look at you, you walking around with that skin tight ass dress beggin for attention" he added. Liv fidgeted around in her seat now uncomfortable she pulled her dress down but wasn't getting much of luck. He was right the dress was tight and short. Liv was begging for attention but little did he know it was only the attention from him that she craved. That was neither here nor there though she wouldn't admit that to him. It wasn't her place nor position. On top of that the only reason she even stepped out of her comfort zone like this was because of Ari. She was cool with just a t-shirt and jeans. Now she was the bad guy.

"Wasn't begging for attention from nobody, just because I got it don't mean I was interested" she replied rolling her eyes as if what he was saying was agitating her.

Vant chuckled his phone interrupting any other words from coming out. He grimaced a bit when he looked at the caller ID. Somehow Halle always popped up at all the wrong times. Ignoring her wasn't an option though she was about to bring his child into the world. So whenever she called he answered regardless of the situation. Which he was fully aware that she had knowledge of  that which was why she took advantage of it. Halle knew Vant was raised in a good family with both parents that were married and had values. He was different in more ways then one.

"Wassup" he spoke through the phone calmly.

"Nothing I thought you was gone call me back"

Vant quickly looked over at Liv who was gazing out the window. He switched the phone to his left ear and held the steering wheel firmly with his right.

"Yeah my bad pops had me out looking for Ari and Liv I ain't even make it back to the crib yet"

It was a small silence on the phone before Halle responded.
