Liv sat in her room supposedly studying for her history exam that she had the next morning. At least that was what she told Vant. But in actuality she was avoiding him at all cost. There relationship was in a odd place. They were off and on, hot and cold. Things would be bad then things would be good. It was like they were playing this cat and mouse game with one another and neither one wanted it to stop. This was how their relationship had always been since day one. It felt weird to let it become anything more regardless of what their bodies was screaming at them. But tonight however Vant seemed distant. It had seemed like his mind was somewhere else seeing as how he didn't have much conversation for her. So instead of showing that she was pressed and felt some type of way, she had made up a quick excuse to go hide in her bedroom. It was no way Vant was going to see her pressed for him. That was what he wanted or so she had thought. It never dawned on her that maybe business was getting hot for him. Or maybe he thought it wasn't safe for them at the moment. For Liv it was always about a bitch... or him just simply playing mind games with her. She hated it.

"Ay yo Olivia" Vant yelled from outside the room in the dinning area. Liv stopped thinking and was brought back to reality. Olivia? She thought to herself. Vant didn't call her by her full name unless it was something serious. Any other time she was just Liv or even babygirl. But Olivia? Yeah that was something different. Liv got up and opened the door heading out into the dinning room. There she found Vant sitting at the dinning room table playing with a chrome pistol another one sat on the table.

"Come over here" he said calmly. Liv didn't say anything as she walked over curious as to what exactly was going on.

"You see this"? Vant asked in reference to his pistol. Liv wanted to say I mean yeah duh its right here in my face but opted out. It was some serious shit going on and the last thing she wanted to do was to cause problems when shit was getting real. She needed some details first.

"It's a gun Vant of course I know what it is" she said confused.

"The real question is do you know how to use this shit"? He asked looking deeply into her soft brown eyes.

Liv froze up she didn't know how to use it but if and when her back was up against a wall she was confident that she would know what to do. No instructions needed.

"I'm sure its not hard to figure out" she replied honestly.

"Well I don't need no figure it out bullshit, I need you to know what you doing at all times cause if some shit ever happened and I can't be there to save you.. you need to save yourself. People ruthless out here they don't give a fuck if you a female, kid, none of that shit. They not sparing nobody and if its my time to go .... its my time to go. So I need to make sure you straight at all times. You feel me"? He asked the seriousness of what he was saying was etched all over his face. He looked worried. At this point Liv knew something was up, something was going on.

"Why are you talking like that? Is there something going on Vant"? she asked Vant took his eyes off her and looked down at the pistol.

"Nah everything is everything" he lied he didn't want to add unessecary stress to her. Shit for all he knew he could just be paranoid. That just came with the game.

Liv wanted so badly just to ask what was going on with them. But for what? if he didn't care she wasn't going to. That just wasn't in her. To top that she had to keep reminding herself that Vant wasn't even available. He was about to have a baby with a whole different woman and here she was tripping over him. Shame on me she thought turning around and heading back towards her room.

"stop tryna act so tuff all time and just let nature take its course". Vant said stopping Liv dead in her track. She swiftly turned back around and locked eyes with him.

"I don't know what your talking about. You know I don't do know acting".  Liv replied as if she had know idea what he was talking about.

Vant grinned she had that affect on him.

"imma tell you some shit and I don't want it to go over your head, you feel me"? .... "What you and I got is an essential part of my life. I know sometimes I have your feelings probably everywhere but like I told you before its a lot going on. That don't change how I feel about you or how you feel about me I hope".

Liv locked eyes with Vant searching for a little more then what he was giving her. It was true her feelings for Vant were permanently wrote into her heart. She had never loved or felt for any man period the way she felt for Vant. He was her rock the other half of her. It was the waiting game, it was the fact that he was in a entire relationship with a whole different woman and on top of that they were starting a family. So, regardless of what he said or how they both felt it didn't change his situation and that was what bothered her the most. That was what was holding her back and she knew just like he did it was vise versa for him as well.

"I know what your going to say, timing right"? Liv almost chuckled and she accepted the realality of her perdictiment.

"Okay Vant" she said nonchalantly

"Okay? Thats all I get huh"?

Vant sat the gun down on the table and stood up in a instance. Liv body when cold as she waited for him to approach her. She was ready to melt in his gaze but her pride wouldn't allow her to do that. The shield that she wore to protect her feelings and emotions was secured. He could try but she wouldn't let him or so she thought. Vant reached out for her hand and kissed in gently.

"You my baby girl I got so much love for you" he said never losing eye contact. She hated that it always made her feel so small and transparent. But even so it made her feel like the only girl in his world. In those moments it was only them nobody else existed and if she could live in this moment forever she would. Fuck it. Liv grabbed his face and touched her lips with his. They had kissed before but never at the intensity of this. It was long over due and the way Liv took control of the situation turned Vant on so bad he couldn't deny it. She was growing up on him and maturing into the perfect woman he had molded her to become. This was him. The thought alone of some one else enjoying the master piece he had created made him sick to his stomach. Vant had to make shit right for them, she deserved that and so much more. Olivia pulled back from him looking him desperately in his brown eyes.

"I want this" was all she said before slowly undressing herself starting with her shirt. Sensing his reluctance she smiled and and kissed him again.

"please" she whispered in his ears.
