Jess was pacing back and forth from where she usually sat, Mr Clove had left the room and of course took Ollie with him. Jess was worried for him, what was Mr Clove gonna do to him? "Jess, it's not your fault." Ivy sighed as she watched Jess walk back and forth for the 30th time.

"Oh but it is Ivy! I got him in trouble!" Jess panicked, now covering her face with her hands.

"I wouldn't worry about it! He seems to get in trouble all the time." Ivy shrugged.

"That's not the point! I'm the reason he got in trouble, it should have been me who got caught." Jess sadly said, pausing her pacing. "You should have seen the look on his face."

"Jess." Ivy got her friend's attention. "He seems to like you a lot, he won't be annoyed."

"I hope so." Jess sighed, a bell rang to signal for the students in detention to leave the school, Jess quickly packed up her stuff as her and Ivy walked towards the front door. Jess looked to her left to see the corridor where Mr Clove's office was, she had a feeling Ollie was in there now. She abruptly stopped walking and stood staring at the corridor. "I'm gonna stay behind and check."

Ivy sighed. "Jess, no, you'll see him tomorrow."

"I have to see if we're ok first." Jess told Ivy, who raised a brow. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, bye." Ivy gave her friend a quick smile, waving before she left.

Jess went down the small steps to reach the corridor where the headteacher's office was. There was three plastic chairs she could sit on, so she quickly took a seat and waited for Ollie to come out. She must have waited five minutes before the door opened to reveal the boy she got into trouble. "Ollie." Jess stood up.

Ollie looked surprised that Jess was there, the surprise quickly fading as he had a scowl on his face. "What do you want Jess?" He asked her as he started to climb the steps to enter the main corridor again.

Jess rushed to catch up with him, there was a size difference between the pair of them, her small legs trying to catch up. "I-I just wanted to see if you were ok!" She nodded.

"I'm fine." Ollie bluntly told her, adjusting his bag on his shoulder.

Jess furrowed her brows. "You don't sound o-"  She started.

Ollie spun around to face Jess, anger on his face. "I said I'm fine!" He yelled at her.

Jess flinched back, she hated people shouting at her. "I'm sorry about the whole getting you in trouble." She apologised, Ollie rolling his eyes as he opened the front door. "Well maybe you shouldn't of...never mind."

He turned to her as they reached outside. "Sorry?" Ollie narrowed his eyes at her.

"I'm just saying you didn't need to go after me." Jess quietly told him, pretty scared for his reaction.

Ollie was furious, but the anger didn't seem to be directed towards her, it was like he was angry with himself too. "Are you having a laugh?!" He shouted.
