"Jess, are you not completely bored right now?" Ivy huffed as she spun around on the computer chair.

"Not really." Jess shrugged, continuing to type the essay she had been assigned. After finding out why they all got detention, they went back to their sides and weren't really talking, Ivy's plan had backfired.

"I thought after getting to know each other we'd all be talking!" Ivy told Jess, lying her head against the desk.

Jess looked up and sighed. "The popular kids won't interact with people like me unless they have to."

"We need to break this divide between us!" Ivy huffed. "We're gonna be stuck with each other for a long time! We need to get along."

"It won't work." Jess shook her head.

"Trust me." Ivy got up from her seat. "I need like a spinner thing."

"One of the bases will have one." Jess told her.

Ivy furrowed her brow. "What's the bases?"

"All the types of subjects have this room where people who misbehave get sent, and it's where a lot of the work is kept." Jess explained to Ivy.

"Can you show me?" Ivy asked.

"I can't break the rules." Jess quickly shook her head.  "Ollie used to go in there a lot, ask him."

Ivy's eyes widened. "I'll find it myself, it's fine." She quickly said, walking out of the library.

"Too scared to leave Jess?" Ollie smirked at her, Jess rolled her eyes.

"Come on Ollie, stop it." Aaliyah sighed.

Nova narrowed his eyes at the group all doing their work at the table, except Jess who was by herself besides the computers. "Why are all these nerds acting like...nerds?" He asked.

"Oh for fuck sake." Marcy smacked her head down on the table.

Emily rolled her eyes. "Do you have a brain up there Nova?"

"Course I do!" Nova exclaimed.

"You sure about that?" Elijah raised his eyebrows. The popular group laughed a little as the quieter group were muttering to each other.

"They all talk so loud." Rachel huffed.

"I can't concentrate." Clark agreed. Max didn't say anything but nodded his head.

"Yeah I know right! They are so loud and annoying!" Bryan said a little too loudly, smacking a hand over his mouth when he realised how loud he was.
