Pulling out the garage, I head down the huge driveway. I'm finally going down the suburbs street. Driving pass all the ugly houses on the block. Rolling the windows down to feel the cool breeze hit my face. I got to admit I do miss the warm weather here being in the cold most of the year was a pain in the ass.
Passing the the local park brought back of some unwanted memories of when the kids use to chase me and kick my ass. Man kids are assholes.
Arriving to the destination, I pull into the parking lot of Homer High School. I find an empty parking spot towards the front then turning off the engine.
I get out the car and walk in front of betsy and sit on the hood of her. Taking my hanging sunglasses from my shirt, I put them on observing my surroundings. I furrowed my eyebrows and look a the huge building in front of me. What a horrible looking school.
Looking down at my wrist watch to check the time, mom did say they were getting out in an hour. It should be ringing right about now... As on cue the bells ring.
Huge crowd of teens started to leave the building and swarm the parking lot. Some of them was staring at me probably wondering who I was and why was I here.
I'm starting to lose my patience "where the hell is this girl at". Sliding off the car getting ready to leave her ass. I hear a couple of foots steps approach me. "Well look who it is girls my little baby sister" I hear that voice I know all to well.
There she is my older sister standing there smirking at me. She grew up to be a very beautiful woman, looking just like mom. Having the same jet black hair as us but longer.
I chuckled little bit shaking my head "I'm not little no more you midget" I say to her with a smirk. She's a lot shorter compared to my 5'9 height. "I'm not midget!" She's shouts hitting my shoulder "you're just a giant".
"What was Uncle Kurt feeding you out there? Horses?". I heard laughing from two girls I didn't know were there. "No he wasn't horses, it was cows for your information" I smirk at her. "What took you so long to come out, I've been standing out here for like thirty minutes" I say rolling my eyes at her. She rolls her eyes as well "You and I both know you wasn't waiting no thirty minutes because you would have been left with your impatient ass" Wow I feel attacked.
"But anyways had to talk to my coach about some cheer business". I look at her cheerleading uniform and shake my head." I see you gave into mom's dreams of you becoming a cheerleader, what a sucker" I laugh a little bit. She also laugh at my comment "I'm no sucker you asshole, I was just tired of her begging me about it so I tried it out and I was kinda good at it so I kept doing it " She shrugged.
"Kinda good?! She's a natural, prodigy and our head captain" one of the girls said. I didn't know they was still there. "Head captain huh? You never told me this" I say cocking up one of my eyebrows. "Yeah. It's no big deal" she says shrugging. I give her a little smile "No big deal. You're head captain of the Pom-Pom squad that is a big deal, congrats sis" she looks down chuckling to herself, having the same soft smile as our mother "yeah whatever" she says looking up at me.
"Sooo are you going to give us a ride to crazy Mike's diner?" She asks with a puppy dog eyes. "Damn you already using me" I shake my head little. "Using!" She says dramatically "I would never" she says pretending to be hurt. "Come on its Friday" one of the girls says, she has blonde hair. The other girl had black short hair, they are cute but just not my type. "I'm sorry who are you guys" I ask folding my arms against my chest. "This is robin" Alice points to the black hair girl "And Paige" points at the blonde. "Girls this is my little sister Jordan" she says wrapping her arm around my shoulders.
"It's nothing little about her" Paige says licking her lips and looking me up and down. That look gave me shivers but not in a good way. "Ewww stop that Paige that's my sister" Alice says eyeing her down.
"Are we going to the diner or not" Alice says with her puppy dogs out again, she pokes out her lip. That fucking face is evil, did a lot of chores because of it. Put my head down in defeat, shit I could never say no to that. Smacking my lips "Come on" I say turning around going to open the door for them. I finally get in the car and start the engine up. "You know when you do that you kinda look ugly" I give her a quick glance. "Shut up" she punches my arm lightly.
Driving out the parking lot "how was your trip?" Alice asks me. "It was alright I slept through the whole plane ride" keeping my on the road. "Are you happy to be back?" It was robin turn to talk then Paige started to ask questions. Damn these girls are nosy "Ecstatic" still keeping my eyes on the road. "Guys leave Jordan alone" Alice says probably sensing that I was getting annoyed with her friends.
Stopping at a red light "you know everyone goes to the diner" Alice says fixing her hair in the mirror. "Ok your point is?" She gives me a smirk not just any smirk her evil smirk. I stare at her trying to read her but no point in doing that she has the best poker face in the game. I hear a honk breaking our stare competition.
What is she talking about?
