The next morning I called Calum and asked him to come over, I really needed to explain this whole situation to him and see what he thinks. I threw on some skinny jeans and a sweatshirt and had some breakfast. I lounged around for what seemed like forever waiting for Calum to arrive. Finally my door is knocked and Calum steps in. I give him a huge hug.

"So what's up Mi?"

"I have a lot of explain to do"

"I'm listening" he says and sits down on the sofa.

"The morning after Luke and I slept together.." I continue to tell him everything from the night he tells me it meant nothing to our little scene last night and finally out argument. Through me telling him he seems highly uncomfortable, which is understandable considering he's my best friends having to sit and listen about me and Luke nearly fucking.

"He's so difficult sometimes, he can be hard to understand. But then again, I don't know the story between you two. No one does?" He says but more like a question.

I sigh.

"No one knows because there's no point. What happened is now in the past and he couldn't care less." I say quietly.

"What did happen?" He asks warily.

"I-I it doesn't matter" I whisper.

"It matters to me" he says putting his hand on my leg.

I sigh for what feels like the millionth time.

"When we were both around 7, m-my mum, she was really ill, an-and she passed away. I was in such a mess, I was only 7 and I lost the person who is supposed to be your best friend, your carer, the one to help you through life. I didn't understand why she left, but I knew she wasn't coming back. I only had one friend and that was Luke. He was the only one who knew what was going on, the only one who could understand me. We were best friends for years, we did everything together, we were inseparable. We used to go on silly adventures and do stupid kids things together. But that all stopped when we turned 15. He started hanging around with the wrong people, doing stuff I didn't like. We started to distance, he started ditching me for his 'new friends' by 16 he completely forgot about me. That was until I met you guys, Michael to be specific. He introduced me to all of yous, even Luke. He acted like he didn't even know me. Like we were complete strangers. Like everything we went through together didn't matter anymore. Like I didn't mean anything to him" I breath out. I can't help but break down. I hate think about the past. I try so hard to look forward, not back. But it hurts so much. Luke made me and broke me. If it wasn't for him, I would have been lost but if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be lost.

"Mia, I'm so sorry, I really am" he says hugging me tight.

"I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me" I say, quickly wiping the tears away.

"Let's go grab something to eat, yeah?" He says while kissing my forehead.

I really wasn't hungry, but I needed to take my mind off this so I agreed.

We drove to McDonald's because life. I ate like it was my period. Wait. Period? PERIOD?

"Oh my god Calum my period" I shout as quiet as I can.

"What about it?" He asks clearly weirded out about my unique choice of topic.

"My period it-I've not took it" I say.

He stares at me clearly oblivious to my point.

"I don't know if luke used protection"

"Your on the pill, idiot" he says quietly chuckling whilst rolling his eyes.

"Oh.. Opps" I feel my cheeks burn.

"Stop being paranoid" he assures me.

"There's so much stress Calum, I can't do this" I sigh putting my head on the table.

"Let's go back to michaels, see what the crews up to. It might take some of this stress off you" he says placing a hand on my back guiding me out to the car.

We pull up to Michael's drive and ashton cars already here. Calum goes to leave to car when I stop him.

"What's wrong?" He asks.

"Ashton's cars there"

"Don't worry about it mia"

"But what about what happened at the movie, what if Luke's there"

"Mia, it's all blown over, an I'm sure luke won't be there, even if he is, we can leave If you want?"

I sigh and step out the car. We don't even knock, just stride on in. I hold my breath but thankfully I only see Ashton and Michael on the couch playing video games.

Calum walks over to the kitchen while I sit as far away from Ashton as possible. What he said really annoyed me but it hurt me more- to know that's what one of my best friends thought of me.

"Hello mimi" Michael says happily keeping his eyes fixed on the screen.

"Hey" I says quietly.

"Hey mia" Ashton says looking at me quickly before starting back at the tv.

"Hi" I say quietly. I feel pretty embarrassed to be honest. I wish Amelia was here right now, even out the genders a bit. Calum walks back through and sits beside me with a can of soda.

"You ok?" He says quietly into my ear so only I can here.

"Yeah" I mumble.

I start playing with my hair when I hear loud obnoxious footsteps come down the stairs. You guessed it, the one and only- Luke Hemmings.
