The nickname he called me, Love, it scared me. And what he said to me scared me, too. Not even what he said, just what his actions were. Why did I have to tell him I was "intrigued." Let's be real, I am, but he doesn't have to know that.

As I sit through 6th period physics I notice something that seemed weird to me. Dominic's doing his work casually in his notebook. And he didn't seem lost or faking it. I looked at his paper a little more and he was getting them right too. The teacher was teaching the class how to do it, not doing all of them for the class so he wasn't copying it down. "You need help with the work, Love?" He startled me.

"No! I'm just surprised." I argue back.

"And why is that?"

"Because you said you were bad at physics." I state, trying to be confident.

"And you said you could tutor me but here we are. You're trying to copy my paper, looks like we both lied a little." His accent makes his words sound more mysterious. Maybe it was just his attitude, though.

"I'm not the liar, I am good at physics. I just don't want to do the work right now." I mumble, realizing how unbelievable that is.

"Yeah, okay." He sighs, "give me your number and I'll send you the answers when I finish tonight." Oh? I didn't expect that.

"It's okay, I can do it on my own." I smile at him. He looks at me skeptically.

"Alright, your loss." He goes back to work as if the conversation never happened. I sat there for a minute, looking at him in slight shock. "You can stop staring, Love, I know I'm gorgeous." He chuckles and didn't even bother looking up.

I blush profusely. "Oh shut it!" I look back at my paper. The one with nothing on it. I rip a little piece of paper out of the bottom corner of my book. I write the ten digit number down. I suck in a breath and give him the paper. The bell rings almost immediately after and I make a dash for the door. I smile to myself knowing I'll a have a little less homework tonight.

I walk to my locker where Lexi and I meet. I grab my books, putting my physics book back in my locker. We walk out to her car as she rambles on about how she met the hottest guy today.

"You don't get it! He has a perfect jawline and amazing cheekbones and such a perfect voice. I think I've fallen for him." She gushes. I just nod my head and laugh a little, knowing she'll be on to the next boy within a few days.

I feel eyes on me as we walk through the parking lot. I look around but don't see anyone looking specifically at me. I ignore it and just get in the car, until someone knocks on the window. I jump a little in my seat. Lexi gives me a weird and I just shrug as I roll the window down revealing the face. The face that belongs to a British boy with green eyes and crazy hair.

"You're coming with me today, Felicity." He smiles at me. I look at him, not saying a word. He doesn't take my answer as a no and opens my door. He leans over me and unbuckles my seatbelt, shooting a very confused Alexis a smile. He grabs my arm gently and I flinch at the touch. He looks slightly confused, but ignores me and continues pulling me out of the car. I grimace slightly at the touch of pain as he connects with one of my many bruises.

"What are you doing?" I finally manage to say.

"I'm taking you home today. No questions." He smiles and leads me to his car.

"Where are you going?" Lexi shouts from behind us.

Dominic turns around and smiles at her. "Don't worry she'll be safe with me." He continues leading me to his car, a bunch of people looking at us, just as confused as I am.

"Seriously Dominic, What are you doing?"

"I'm taking you home, isn't it obvious?" He smirks again.

"But why? You've never been interested in me before today."

"I'm going to figure you out."

He said that oddly calm. Like he already knew something and wanted to prove himself right. "And what the hell does that mean?"

"You'll find out." He says as we finally pull out of the parking lot.

He takes a left and I'm now confused. "Ummm.... my house is the other way" I mumble out.

"We're not going to your house." He smiles happily. Too happily. "We're going to mine!"

"NO!" I shout too fast. "I mean I can't, I have to get home right away. My dad and I have something to do together."

"And what is this 'something'?" He asks using air quotes.

"It's nothing important to you, just family stuff." I lie smoothly. I hope. He pulls the car to the side of the road and I let out a sigh.

He looks at me slowly and looks worried? That's weird I think. He reaches his hand out and before I know it, he pulls up my shirt. Just enough to see the bruises. I let out a gasp and pull my shirt down as quickly as possible.
