I kept the necklace back to its box and decided to take a shower before I go to sleep.
"Uy Claudio! Andyan ka na pala!" She said as soon as she went out of her classroom. I always wait for her because we walk home together.
I flashed a smile as soon as I saw her. "Let's go?" I said and was about to carry her bag.
"Di muna ako makakasabay ngayon eh." She said, still smiling.
"Why?" I asked.
"Naalala mo si Chris? Yung crush ko nung elem?" She started. "Susunduin nya daw ako!" I felt my heart broke.
"Oh ayan na pala sya eh!" Hope suddenly pointed at someone from my back so I turned to face him. He was smiling warmly at Hope.
"Christian, bestfriend ko nga pala. Clyde si Chris." Hope introduced us to each other. Ngumiti ako ng pilit.
"Let's go?" Christian asked Hope. Hope nodded then waved goodbye at me.
I don't have a choice but to walk alone today.
I went out of the shower and sat down at my bed while drying my hair.
"Cly, sasagutin ko na si Chris." We were at the coffee shop. It's raining outside.
"Uy nakikinig ka ba?" She waved her hand in front of my face that brought me back to my senses. I looked at her.
"Huh? Of course, I was just thinking of what I reviewed last night for the finals." I explained nonchalantly.
"Ayun nga, sabi ko kasi kagabi, pag umulan ngayong araw, ibig sabihin sign na yun na we're meant to be!" Hope giddily explained. "And charaaaan! Ang lakas ng ulan! Mas malakas, edi better!" At tumawa pa sya.
I laid down on my bed. I guess I'll not be able to sleep tonight. Thoughts suddenly came rushing through my mind.
