I barely slept. It was 6:00 in the morning when I decided to go to her house to give her the gift.

"Good morning!" She greeted me cheerfully. "What brought you here!? Mamaya pa ang kasal! Bawal mo pa kong makita!" She said jokingly.

"I'm just gonna give you this." And I handed her the box.

Her eyes widened in awe as soon as she saw the necklace.

"I knew you'll like it. Enjoy this day, Hopia."

Her eyes started to fill with tears.

"Hey, why are you---" I did not have a chance to finish what I'm saying because she pulled me into a tight hug.

"Ssshh! Ang pangit mo pag-umiiyak." I said while trying to hold my tears.

She suddenly pushed me and laughed. "Panira ka talaga eh! Umalis ka na nga! Magpagwapo ka na dun!" She said while crying-laughing, I don't know hahahaha!

I went straight to my house and get my self ready for the wedding.

"Cly busy ka ba?" She said over the line. "Can you come here?" Natawa ako. Tumawag pa, eh magkatabi lang ang bahay namin!

I went straight to their house and was astounded when I saw her crying. She immediately run to hug me.

"Why? What's the problem?" I said, trying to calm her down.

"Nakita ko si Cris, may kasamang babae." She said, sobbing. I felt my hand turn into a fist.

"Ssshh! He's not worth your tears." I said while rubbing her back to calm her down.

"Ma-mahal ko sya e-eh." She tightened her hug when suddenly the door slammed open!

"Fck! Anong ginagawa mo sa girlfriend ko!?" Christian went straight to grab Hope away and punched me on the face!

I fell on the floor. I wiped the blood that came out of my nose and stand up to punch him back but Hope blocked him.

She faced Christian with anger and her eyes still drenched in tears. "Ang lakas ng loob mong magpunta dito, matapos mong mambabae!?" Her voice cracked.

"Hope, yan na naman ba!? Diba sinabi ko na sayo, kaibigan ko lang yun!" Christian explained. My fist still clenched, I'm holding back because Hope is here.

I want to break that fuckin face of him!

"Kaibigan!? Kahalikan mo!? Ha! Hindi ako bobo Christian!" Hope shouted.

Kumunot ang noo ni Christian. "Sinong nagsabi nyan sayo!?" He turned to look at me. "Ikaw ba!? Eh gago ka pala eh!"

He started to walk towards me to punch me again and Hope tried to stop her.

"Bitawan mo ko!" He then pushed her forcefully!

Nagtiim ang panga ko nang makitang bumagsak si Hope sa sahig! "How dare you push her!"

I can't hold back anymore! I punched him until he fell!

"Ni hindi ko nga yan sinasaktan tapos gaganyanin mo!?" Galit na galit na sigaw ko sa kanya.
