Ch.7: Hanging Out :3

"Hey Raven!" I heard Rin call my name.

"Yeah, what do you need?" I said looking up from my sketchbook.

"Do you wanna hang out?" He said scratching the back of his head.

"Yeah sure. Just let me change." I said referring to my pajamas. What should I wear? I guess it doesn't matter. I put on a gray tank top with a red-black plaid flannel over it some ripped skinny jeans my black converse and a gray beanie. I straightened my hair, put my necklace on and put on some mascara.

"Alright I'm done." I said coming down the stairs and grabbing my phone.

Rin looked me up and down," uh.. Cool let's go." He grabbed my hand and rushed me out the door. Which made me blush. "No, no don't think like that!" I thought.

"Are you okay?" Rin asked studying me.

"Uh yeah I'm fine but could you let go of my hand." He looked down.

"Oh...uh sorry." He avoided eye contact but I could've sworn I saw him blush.

We arrived at some little café, we took a seat and I ordered a chocolate milkshake.

"So Rin, we've known each other for only a week, and I don't really know you. Hell I just know your name and that you're "just like me". So who is Rin Okumura?" I said with a smirk.

"I could say the same for you, I'm an open book ask away."

"Um, why did you want to become an exorcist?"I asked

"Well I haven't told you this, but I'm the son of Satan. I want defeat him. So I became an exorcist. And you?"

"Wow, my brother wanted to become an exorcist, and I don't like being alone. I know not as meaningful as yours but hey its something, but I hope I figure out who my parents are. Or at least my father." I said remembering when my mom came to visit me. "Okay, any life goals?"I asked "I haven't really thought of my future. I just want to defeat "him", and what about you?" Rin said sipping his milkshake.

"I want to draw manga or animate, but I do love music, so I don't know. I guess that's more what I want to be than goals."I said while Rin chuckled.

"Now on a more serious note, boyfriend's?"

"Oh now we're getting personal. nope, girlfriend's?" I said leaning forward.

"Nope, I'm single as a Pringle and ready to mingle." He said moving his eyebrows. I tried to keep from laughing but failed.

"Don't ever do that again." I said calming down.

"What this?" He said moving his eyebrows with a smirk.

"Yes and everything else." I said finishing off my milkshake.

"Oh whatever. Come on, I have somewhere else I want to go."

"Okay."

We walked and talked for hours.

"...and then Ryo fell and face planted the floor."

"You are so mean." Rin said chuckling.

"Hey where are we even going?" I asked remembering he wanted to go somewhere.

"Oh that I just wanted to walk with." He said blushing a little.

"Oh ok you could've just said that." He stopped walking.

"Are you okay?" I said facing Rin.

"Um..yeah I just want-"

"Hey Raven!" Danny cut off Rin.

"Oh hey Danny what are you doing here?" I asked

"I was just walking and I saw you so I wanted to say hi." He said smiling

"Oh okay." I returned the smile back

"But I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out later?" Danny said while I saw Rin walk away and sit at a bench.

"Um yeah okay."

"Good here's my number." Danny wrote on a piece of paper and gave it to me. "Okay bye Raven, see you later." Danny started walking away.

"So is are day of fun already over or is there more." I said sitting next to Rin the sun was already setting.

"We could just hang out at the dorms I want to go home." He said getting up and leaving.

"Hey! Wait for me." I caught up to him "are you alright?" I asked, but he didn't look at me. "Rin?"

"On second thought I want to walk alone for a while, okay?" He started walking away. But I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers.

"Don't leave me too." I said staring at the ground I saw my vision blur as warm tears fell down my face. He didn't move or say anything, "please?" My voice was shaking. I felt him let go of my hand, but then he he grabbed both my shoulders and pulled me into an embrace.

"I would never leave you." He said. He let go and intertwined our fingers again. "Let's go home, ok."
