Narrator's P.O.V

The four turtles, the four teens, have just finished their ninjutsu practice for the day. They had one session per day. Which was a hard thing for normal animals, but our heros weren't any animals. They've been training ever since they got to New York City. They knew that they had to fight the crime that was in the city; since the police were so late to the problems that was going around in NYC.

"Ah, man! My arms are so sore and tired. I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!" Said the youngest one, Michelangelo, while stretching his arms into the air.

Leo grunted. "We're all tired, Mike." Of course, the training would be harder for the little one since he was only 14. Much younger compared to Leo. "Hey guys, how 'bout we go to the movies? That'll hype us up!" Donnie suggested. Raph groaned in pain he had in his legs and hung an arm around Leo's neck. "Good idea, but I wanna eat something first." "Then let us go to a restaurant, gentlemen!" Mikey exclaimed dramatically. Everyone, except himself, face palmed.

- hours later -

The four brothers stepped out of the cinema, very exhausted after watching a so-called-scary movie. Donnie was wearing his blank face, while Mikey was blabbing about the movie. At this point, Leo had his ear slits covered with his three-fingered hands. Raph was only growling at Mikey for babbling, but the young one didn't seem to notice and shut his mouth.

The were passing streets by streets, alleys by alleys; just to get to their chosen sewer cover. They weren't living in a luxury house because of the lack of money. But, they found a perfect solution. They found a hollow place in the sewers back when they were younger. They explored it and found out that the place was an abandoned house for workers in the sewers. They cleaned it up, brought furniture and stuffs, and made there a home. But every time they wanted to get in, they had to make sure no one was there to see them, or think weird of them.

Anyway. As they were passing a dark alley, a shadow caught Raph's eyes. He glanced at the shadow from the corner of his eyes, and it was still there. Though, it looked so big and skinny. He turned his head around, but the shadow suddenly disappeared. He frowned, and walked faster to catch up with his brothers.
His emerald green eyes wouldn't stop looking around for protection.

Fortunately, Donnie was the first to notice Raph's strange behavior. "Raph, What's wrong?" He asked putting a hand on Raph's shoulder. Raph only sighed and looked down while walking. "I thought someone was following us. That's all." Mikey heard their conversation and raised an eyebrow. "Someone? Following us? Pfft, dude! Why would someone be following us? We have nothing." Leo nodded in agreement and crossed his arms. Raph only stared, then shrugged it away.

They kept walking, chatting with each other, except Raph. He was being so paranoid. There was a tingling feeling up his upper arm, giving him the goosebumps. He would usually rub it away, but this one was different.

This time, he felt a hot breath against his nape. Now he knew someone was following them. He felt shivers in his full body, but didn't let fear take over. So, he spun around quickly standing in a fighting position with his fists up in the air for self-defense. But nothing was there. Leo glanced at Raph and groaned. "Come on Raph. Did that movie affect you? Snap out of it." He grabbed Raph by the wrist as he spoke. Raph jerked away his hand from Leo's and walked faster. He could've swear he saw the shadow, again.

"Let's just head back home." He mumbled while they all followed. Raph had his hands in his hoodie's pockets while his head hung low. He witnessed that blurry shadow several times, but as he tended to look at it fully, it would dissappear. And this made him so uneasy.

As they made it to the sewer cover, Leo was the one to jump in first. Then Mikey jumped, then Donnie. Raph was the last one on surface, much to his unpleasant. As he was about to jump, he heard a deep and raspy voice behind his back.
"You can't run away for ever."
He spun around quickly while he tended to kick whoever just said that. But instead, he kicked the air. There was none. His frown deepened. 'But how? I KNOW someone's there!"Raph thought desperately. He scanned his surroundings carefully. Nothing to be seen.

Soon, Raph was drifted out of his defensive position by Leo's voice echoing in the sewers.
"Raph! What's taking so long!?"
Raph shook his head as he jumped in the sewage, too. He just knew they were being chased. He knew they were in danger. And he couldn't let whoever was following them, hurt his brothers. Over his dead body.
