"Yea cowboy?" I said.

"I don't know about you, but I'm glad we're partners." He said.

"You know what, I'm glad we are too." I said.

He smirked, "I never thought I would here you say that."

"Oh shut up cowboy. Come on let's go get our kids."

"Ok."

Lucas drove me and him to the adoption center. We walked in. A few other classmates were here.

"Lucas! Look at that little girl! She's adorable!" I exclaimed.

I dragged him over to her.

"Hi! I'm Maya and this is...........................my, uhh, husband. Lucas. What's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Hazel! I'm six!" she said as she grinned ear to ear.

"We are here to adopt some kids for a project. Would you like us to adopt you?" Lucas said.

"You mean come live with you! And you will be my mommy and daddy! FOREVER!" she yelled.

"Yes." I replied.

I saw Lucas grinning, and I grinned back. Hazel was jumping up and down. Her hair was just like mine, very bouncy, but her hair was the same color as Lucas's hair.

"Yay!" she said.

"Do you want to have any brothers or sisters?" Lucas asked.

Hazel thought for a minute, then she jumped up.

"Corey!" she yelled.

A little blonde haired boy ran up to us.

"Hazel! Who are these people?" he asked.

"They are my new mommy and daddy! And they said I could have a brother or sister! I want you to be brother!" she said.

Corey came up to us and grinned. Lucas and I smiled.

"I'm Corey! I just turned four!" he said as he held up four fingers.

I laughed, "I'm Maya, and this is Lucas. Would you like to come live with us?"

"Can I really live with you?" he asked.

I grinned, "Of course! And Hazel will be your sister!"

"Yes! I want you to be my mommy and daddy!" he said.

Corey ran over to Lucas and Hazel ran over to me. we both picked them up.

"Let's go!" Lucas said.

We checked out the kids and got our apartment. The bedrooms were huge, and each one had a tv. Hazel's room had bright pink wallpaper with a matching dresser which had her tv on top of it. Her closet was empty. She had a bed on the opposite wall of her dresser, probably so she could see the tv. She also had a bright lavender toy chest by her closet. She also had a window with lavender butterfly curtains.

Corey's room was the same size as Hazel's room. He had sports wallpaper, and a navy blue book shelf full of toys in the corner of one of the walls. His tv was on top off the bookshelf, and just like Hazel's, his bed was across from it. He had a small desk with fake tool's on it. His closet was also empty.

My bedroom was the largest. There was a king size bed with golden covers. We also had golden curtains. There was a silver desk with a tv on it. We had a walk in closet, and a giant bathroom. Our walls were painted silver.

Just like Riley's house, our kitchen was connected to the living room. We had a large sofa and tv in the living room, and there was a ton of money on the kitchen table. All of the cabinets were empty, and the kids needed clothes.

"Lucas, this money must be for food and clothes for the kids." I said.

"Yeah, let's go shopping." Lucas said.

"Yay!! Shopping!" Corey and Hazel shouted.

I smiled. We all walked out of our apartment and got into Lucas's car, well, our car. We left for the mall.
