        Harry walked towards the large door standing there for a second before deciding to knock. He stood there for a few second before Maura answered the door. Sure going to Niall's mom about this was a bit...out there but he needed all the help he could get and he knew that she would be willing to help. Even though she knew what he did to Niall she always knew that he could be someone special in the world. Even if Harry couldn't see that himself.

        "Harry?" Maura almost felt like she was dreaming. Could it be possible that the father of her grandson was back? Harry attempted to smile but he couldn't seem to be able to form a proper one. "What in the world are you doing back in town"

        "I wanted to see my son...and Niall" Harry told her only making her sigh. She knew just how stubborn her son was and she knew that he had the right to be angry. She was angry at one point as well but she had grown to accept that Harry had given her, her grandson. She stepped back from the door letting Harry in shutting it behind them.

        "Have you attempted to contact Niall" she asks looking at the boy she once knew as a young teenager, now a grown man looking for forgiveness.

        "Yes it didn't go well. I even got to talk to him on the phone" Harry said referring to Demitri. Maura couldn't help but smile thinking of Harry having some form of contact with his child, but she also knew that Harry would not be allowed into Demitri's life unless he made a true effort to be with him.

        "You know I should kick you out of my house for what you did to my son and my grandson" Maura said and Harry nodded. He deserved to be kicked out but he just wanted someone to hear him out. Anyone at this point. "But I won't, because all these years I have been curious as to why the hell you thought it would be okay to walk out on your family"

        Finally Harry thought. "I wasn't ready for a family. I was still the delinquent kid that got in trouble for drinking, partying to much, and doing whatever I felt I wanted. You and I both know that I was not ready to be a father and I didn't want to be one either. I just wanted to be free but I've gotten my life together. I have a stable job in the music industry, and a home. I just want to show Niall that I'm ready now"

        "Ready for what exactly...He has a boyfriend Harry. And he's great with..."

        "I don't want to hear about him" Harry cuts her off. He didn't want to hear about another man helping the love of his life raise his son.

        "Harry, Niall is in a good place in his life. I can understand now wanting to be in Demitri's life but maybe you should keep it at that. Don't get to ahead of yourself" Harry understood what Maura was saying but he hated the thought of someone else being with Niall. The thought made his blood run cold. As cruel as that sounded that's how Harry thought. He was the only person that was meant for Niall, the only person that could touch...or even love Niall. There was no one on this earth that loved Niall more than Harry did. Excluding Demitri of course.

        Harry pushed his own thoughts and decided to take this one step at a time. "How can I get him to let me see my son?" he asked

        "Give me some time and I will get back to you on that one" Maura said and Harry nodded knowing that he would have to be willing to wait for something like this.

{~*~}

        "Mom he's sleeping, I will not wake him so that you can tell him something" Niall sighed into the phone trying to get off the phone with her. He had no understanding as to why his mother was insisting on talking to the sleeping boy but he knew that he could wait to hear the information whatever it was.
