Chapter 29

Niall and Harry had managed to patch things together right after Drew was born. Neither parent wanted the sweet little girl to be forced to live with two parents fighting all the time. Demitri on the other hand just wanted the girl to himself. "Daddy I want her!" He whined as Niall fed Drew another bottle.

"Don't you want your sister to eat?" Niall laughed. Demitri huffed knowing that she did need to eat but he wanted to hold her again and tell her about his monster trucks. "I promise once she's all fed and burped I will hand her right back to you"

Demitri liked the sound of that she he decided that it would be best that he just wait patiently. "Daddy guess what" He smiled looking over his shoulder at his Daddy.

"What?" Niall asked looking up from his baby girl.

"Dada told me a secret" Demitri giggled knowing that he wasn't really supposed to be telling his Daddy this but how could he contain himself. This was the biggest secret anyone had ever told him and he didn't want to keep it to himself any longer.

"Oh did he now. And are you going to tell me what this secret is?" Niall chuckled taking the nub of the bottle from Drew's mouth making her whine a little. He quickly sat her up and began to burp her.

"Dada said that I couldn't but I really want to" Demitri was conflicted. "Can I tell Drew instead?"

“I suppose you can yes” Niall chuckled feeling the little girl let out a small burp. Demitri smiled and climbed up onto the couch placing his back against it like his daddies had taught him to. He held his arms out and Niall gently placed the little girl down into his awaiting arms.

The boy placed a soft kiss to his little sisters forehead before whispering to her. “Dada is going to give Daddy a ring”

Niall’s heart skipped. Could this mean what he thought it meant? Is that why Harry had been gone all day? Was he out shopping for rings? Niall shook his head knowing that he wasn’t even supposed to know about this. He watched as Demitri played with Drew’s hands and smiled.

“So do you like being a big brother Demitri?” Niall asked laying his head against the couch cushion.

“Yeah Daddy, its fun. Except when she cries. Dat hurts my ears”

“Yeah she does cry really loud, but have you noticed that she never cries while she’s in your arms? She must really like you as her big brother buddy” Niall smiled kissing Demitri’s temple making him giggle.

“We have another baby Daddy?” Demitri asks tilting his head to the side.

“Not any time soon buddy…But maybe one more” Niall had never thought about having another kid. He had of course planned on Demitri bring his only child but that obviously didn’t go as once planned. That would have to be something that he spoke with Harry about at some point.

Speaking of Harry, he was in fact out shopping for rings. He had told his son correctly. He was going to give his Daddy a ring. A ring that would forever change all of their lives. A ring that would lead them into their awaiting forever.

Harry looked through the glass cases trying to find the perfect one. The one that Niall would be unable to say no to. He was becoming nervous though. What if Niall did say no? What if something went drastically wrong and Harry had read all the wrongs signs that Niall was giving him. A voice pulled Harry from his terrible thoughts.

“Can I help you with something sir?” A dark haired woman asked as she walked over to where Harry was standing.

“Uh yeah…I’m looking for an engagement ring” He muttered still looking for the perfect ring.
