Episode 2: Gyeong

KRRCHK.

There! It happened again! What is that? Dano wonders if she's actually going crazy, just as someone taps her shoulder. She realises she is sitting in the library, her laptop open in front of her.

A voice says, "Hey, excuse me.. you're in my Psych class, right?"

Dano looks up. It's a handsome guy, tall, with pretty lips and feline eyes. But something about his features strike Dano. She doesn't understand if it's dread, or warmth.

"U-Um... y-yes. I am," she replies. But why is she saying that? She doesn't remember ever seeing him.

The guy grins, "Okay. Well... is it okay if I sit here?" There's something familiar about him, but Dano doesn't understand it.

She says, casting her gaze shyly away, "Sure... if you want."

He takes a seat across from her, pulling out books and his laptop and his water bottle.

"You're Dano, right?" He catches her attention before she can turn back to her laptop. "Eun Dano?"

Yes. "Y-Yeah. That's me."

He extends his hand, "Baek Gyeong."

"Gyeong?" Dano cracks a smile. A part of her feels like she's being forced to smile, but at the same time... she means it. "Nice to meet you." She shakes his hand.

WWHHS.

Her movements are her own again. She and Gyeong still clasp each other's hands, amidst a handshake. She tries to withdraw her hand, but he tightens his grip. She glances up at him, startled.

"You're very pretty. You know that?" He says.

Dano wracks her head for a reply. Her mouth pops open and closed like a goldfish. Eventually she just gasps an awkward laugh and looks down, "Oh! Well, uh, thank you."

"Nice to meet you," Gyeong repeats, smiling kindly at her.
