After getting the hang of kissing Y/n, her phone rang.

Not surprised it was Sanemi. What could he want?

Y/n being Y/n, she picked it up, probably forgetting that I was literally on top of her!

author's pov
"Hello?" Y/n picked up the phone.

"Y/n, Are you busy?"

"Uh sorta." She said while taking both of Tanjiro's hands out of her shirt with one hand.

"Doing what? I need your company."

"I just saw you like 30 minutes ago."

"Come over now. We 'needa talk."

Tanjiro getting jealous as he always do, butted into their conversation.

"She's with me." Tanjiro said sternly.

My man! I cheered internally.

"You think I'm suppose to care?!"

Tanjiro got up and sat on the couch with one leg up towards his chest while the other in a 'half cross cross' position.

"Bye Sanemi." Y/n said hanging up.

Tanjiro sat in a position that looked pretty comfortable.

I crawled over towards the other side of the couch and sat in between his legs, having my back face him.

"You smell like Sanemi, Y/n." He said, squinting his nose. Rude.

"How come you didn't notice while we were kissing huh?" I asked, as I flicked his forehead.

"I did, I just didn't want to say anything." He replied.

He kissed my cheek and I reacted, accidentally kicking a bag full of gifts.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to open these." I said.

"O-open mine first, if you don't mind of course." He said.

I looked through the bag and Tanjiro's was on the second from the top, Muichiro's being on top.

So my son does care about me.

I opened Tanjiro's gift and it was a pretty flower with a nice scent to it. A card and a teddy bear also came with it. I read the card out loud. "Get well soon my princess, keep your head up and always smile! Love you." Is what it said.

I blushed so hard at the card that I zoned out. "Thank you Tanjiro, I appreciate this." I said.

"No problem Y/n." He said with a smile while getting up to head out. "Tell B/n, I said bye! I don't want to disturb him." And with that he left.

I'll open up the rest tomorrow. And with that I laid down on the couch, and got ready to fall asleep.
