The girl reached up to pin the thumb tack into the banner on the gymnasium wall. However, she reached too far to the left than even she could manage to reach and she fell from the stepladder she was standing on.

"Ah, shit," she mumbled.

A boy with blonde hair and a tan complexion walked over to hurriedly. He glanced at her dark hair scattered all over the ground and laughed as she rubbed her face, which was paler than most. She had thin and long face, with long limbs to match to them. The boy muffled a laugh as he helped her up.

"Are you okay, Aries?" asked the boy, helping her hoist herself up from the ground.

The girl—Aries—nodded and dusted off her plaid skirt. "I'm fine, Scorpio. Thanks."

"Seriously, though, we can always finish tomorrow morning," Scorpio shrugged. "It's not like I need the extra credit anyways."

Aries laughed and punched him on the shoulder lightly. "Aw, I thought you were here to help your friend."

Scorpio rolled his eyes. "As much as I love helping you, don't you have a student council to help you with this?"

Aries raised her eyebrows. "A few are out getting the catering, the rest are incompetent and in student council for college. It sucks."

Scorpio nodded as he grabbed the thumb tacks from the floor and placed them back in the box from which they had spilled out. Aries knelt down and helped him out, being careful not to get her school uniform dirty. As Scorpio finished piling thumbtacks into a box, Aries stood up and moved the step ladder to the left further, as to not fall once again.

Scorpio stood up with the box of tacks in his hand and handed it to Aries as she mounted the step stool. He took a few steps back as Aries prepared to tack the banner in.

"Is this good?" She asked, holding the banner in place.

Scorpio tilted his head. "A little bit up more... more... perfect!"

Aries tacked the banner in and got down from the stool. They looked around the room. They had gotten the majority of the decorating done, just the two of them alone. Of course they had been there for hours and would have little time to prepare before the actual dance started, but for Aries the main event was the actual decorating of the gymnasium.

Aries' eyes lit up as she saw the finished product and she turned to Scorpio, who was packing up his things. With a surprisingly happy tone, she said, "Now we just have to decorate the outdoors!"

Scorpio groaned and set his belongings down again as he grabbed more streamers off the floor. They were about to walk to the fields when the gymnasium door swung open, revealing the entirety of the football team, wearing their gear and everything. Aries sighed in exasperation and walked up to the coach.

"You guys can't practice in here," she said. "It's reserved for the Moonlight Dance. Can't you practice on the turf?"

The coach shook his head. "Soccer has it."

"What about the practice fields?" Aries asked, raising her eyebrows.

The coach glanced at his players. "Anyone know who has the practice fields today?"
