One door closes and another one opens

This is where my story beings tonight was my final night in Impact, I just defended the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Matt Hardy and EC3 in Triple Threat match. The match was great but I ended up dropping the title to EC3, after the match I just sat in the ring and took everything in for the last time. Once I made it to the back I headed to the locker room and I took a shower and then I was on my way back to Georgia to finally get to spend some time with Emma. On the drive home my life would change forever with just one phone call.

Oliver: Hello.

?: Is this Oliver Pierce?

Oliver: It is.

?: Great, this is Triple H. I'm calling because I just found out that tonight was your last night with Impact. I was wanting to know if you'd be interested in coming down tomorrow for a tryout at the Performance Center.

Oliver: This is a joke right? I'm pretty sure my sister put you up to this.

Triple H: This isn't a joke Oliver. I really think you'd be a good fit in NXT and I've had my eye on yours for a while now. I didn't even know you were done with Impact until your sister told me. So do you want to come down for the tryout?

Oliver: I'll be there.

Triple H: Great, I'll see you tomorrow.

The rest of the drive home I was hype knowing that I was one step closer to achieving my dream of being a WWE Superstar. I got home and saw that the girls were sleeping but Brittany was still awake so I sat down and told her the good news.

Oliver: So I have something really exciting to tell you Britt.

Brittany: So do I, Steven finally asked me to be his girlfriend.

Oliver: That's awesome, I really like him. I hope things work out for you guys.

Brittany: So do I, we're going out tomorrow.

Oliver: Oh.

Brittany: What's wrong?

Oliver: I was going to see if you'd mind watching Emma tomorrow. I got a call from Triple H on my way home and he wants me to go to Orlando tomorrow for a tryout. I'll tell him I can't make it since you're going out with Steven.

Brittany: Jackson don't do that. I'll tell Steven what's going on he'll understand. I'm not going to let you miss out on your dream.

Oliver: Thanks Britt, I owe you big time.

Brittany: No you don't. You've been here for Ashley and I through everything it's the least I could do for you.

Olive: I can't wait to tell Emma.

I went upstairs to Emma's room and woke her up to let her know what was about to happen.

Oliver: Emma, wake up sweetie.

Emma: Leave me alone dad I'm tired.

Oliver: You are one angry 12-year-old. It's really important wake up.

Emma: What is it?

Oliver: I have a tryout with WWE tomorrow.

Emma couldn't contain her excitement she jumped up and hugged me. We talked for a little bit and then she went back to sleep, after I walked out of her room I went to sleep to get ready for my big day tomorrow.
