The Second Night of Paradise

BangTwice Villa; 3:00 PM

Jihyo's POV

I was sitting in front of the beach just looking at the ocean when I heard footsteps behind me.

"If you're trying to surprise me Jin, it's not gonna work."

The footsteps suddenly stopped, and I feel.... something, just standing at my back, staring at me.

"Jin? Say something, you're freaking me out."

.....Silence.

I suddenly felt the urge to stand up and run but I composed myself and ready for whatever happens.

I heard more footsteps coming closer and closer!

I ready my knife that was hidden in front of me and prepared to turn around. 

As I prepared myself mentally-

"Jihyo?"

As I turned, I saw Jin behind me.

"God, if you were there, you should've said something! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

"What do you mean? I just got here."

"Oh..."

I could've sworn I felt someone else behind me.

"Well anyway, everyone agreed that we would be having a beach-side barbecue later for dinner."

"Oh cool! But why are you here? Don't you usually like to prepare in advance?"

Usually he would prepare ahead, but is there a reason he came out to see me?

"Well..."

Jin's POV

FLASHBACK

"No! We're going to prepare the things for dinner!" The tiny cub growled at me.

"Yeah but..."

"No butts! You and Sana-unnie have been cooking for us and we want to do it this time!"

"He's right hyung, you should enjoy yourself for once. We got this." Namjoon said who walked in with Jeongyeon and Dahyun.

"Oh, I can trust them, it's you I'm worried about." I said to Joon.

"Hey! I take offense to that." Namjoon started to pout.

"Don't worry, I'll keep on eye on him." Jeongyeon said while giving a thumbs up.

I sighed in defeat as I looked at the tiny cub smiling at me.

"Hihi, give up oppa."

"I don't even know what I want to do today."

"Oh, I know! Jihyo-unnie is just laying by the beach. Why don't you spend the day with her!" Dahyun happily interjected.
