The Last Drop of Blood

Batman was making his way to the Gotham branch of star labs. "Sir you don't have much time left." Alfred said in a worried tone. "Don't worry I won't be late. I will save him." Batman assured his butler. "BZZZZTTTTTSSSSSHHHHHH" Batman's signal was disrupted and disturbed by none other than John Kramer. "If you thought this was over this isn't. I'm g" Batman turned off his comms immediately as he did not want to hear anything which would side track him. Batman arrived and stormed in. But as he got it he was surprised as to what lengths John Kramer had gone just to extract revenge on the dark knight. "HELLO BATMAN WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU!" said Mr Freeze. Almost all of Arkham Asylum was there with approximately 100 inmates. "HAAAA" Batman charged toward the crowd of villains.

"AHG" Robin finished off the second last villain in his virtual test. "GOOD NOW COMES THE FINAL STAGE" Jigsaw's voice announced. Robin was weakened, tired and in pain. The hits he took in VR affected his body in real life. This very aspect made everything dangerous for the boy wonder. "He he he" A villainous laughter echoed. Deathstroke emerged from the darkness. "Oh no" Robin thought to himself. Robin looked up to see in the VR that there were only 3 minutes. On the other hand Batman was fighting as hard as he could and to be honest he was leaving all who stood infront of him half dead. "AAAAHHHHHH" Batman yelled in victory over all the people who stood in front of him. Batman pulled an amazing feat but at a cost. He fell on his knees to see they got the best of him as Batman was bleeding from almost all over. "Must get to Robin" Batman motivated himself and moved forward. HE kicked open the door and saw Robin. "HELP ME!" Robin yelled as he was missing his left arm. "ROBIN" Batman yelled as he ran towards his apprentice. "I'm here its okay" Batman said as he picked up Robin. Unfortunately Robin couldn't take it anymore and he had passed out. "LOOKS LIKE YOU COULDN'T SAVE ALL OF ROBIN. ALTHOUGH HE BEAT THE CHALLENGE HE WAS ONLY SECONDS OFF. SO HE PAID THE PRICE. HAHAHAHA" Jigsaw's voice echoed in the room. "You will pay for this" Batman said as he ran out with Robin in his arms.

Batman rushed to the Gotham Hospital where he kept Robin in their care. The officials of the Hospital and GCPD were all with Batman as they didn't even try to remove any of the batfamily's masks. "There is still one left" Batman said as he was going out to the batmobile. "Who?" A female voice asked the caped crusader. "Barbara?" Batman saw that the last member of his family was safe. "Alfred?" Batman turned his comms on. "Yes sir" Alfred replied. That means all along this was a trick to make Batman think that he had Barbara in his possession. "Stay here all of you. Do not go anywhere until I come back." Batman said as he left. "Why?" Cash asked Gordon. "Because. He is going to finish it." Gordon said with a proud face. "VRRROOOOOOMMMMMM" The batmobile's engines revved as Batman entered his batcave. He got out and went straight to the batcomputer. "Sir you're here?" Alfred asked. "Yes Barbara is safe and she is with Gordon." Batman said as he initiated a search for Jigsaw. "Master Bruce how exactly do you intend to deal with this menace?" Alfred asked. "The way Batman deems so." Bruce said in a cold tone. "You mean" Alfred couldn't believe what his master was saying. "But that would mean" Alfred's speech was interrupted. "It would mean nothing. I let far too many people die by keeping blood thirsty psychopaths alive. I failed Jason, Barbara, Kramer and countless many by letting the Joker live. And now 62 people are dead and hundreds are affected. I don't have to do this Alfred. I NEED TO!" Bruce ended his words with the most coldest tone Alfred had ever heard from Bruce in all his years. "Master Wayne do you not care about yourself? DO YOU THINK YOU CAN COME BACK ONCE YOU'VE TASTED BLOOD?" Alfred yelled at Bruce. "THE MAN WHO WAS RAISED BY MARTHA AND THOMAS WAYNE AND BY ME WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE A MURDERER!" Alfred said but inside even he wanted to let Batman kill John Kramer. What troubled him most was the fact that the boy he raised single handed after his parents died was about to kill another being. It would be a victory for Gotham but Bruce Wayne will die alongside the villainous man Jigsaw if he let Bruce do what he said he was about to. "ROBIN DOESN'T HAVE AN ARM! THE BOY I PROMISED I WOULD PROTECT GOT HURT! MY WHOLE FAMILY GOT HURT AND I AM NOT GOING TO LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!" Bruce yelled back in response. "It isn't Jigsaw who I am concerned of. The death of Bruce Wayne the little boy I raised. The master who is like a son to me his death is what concerns me." Alfred said what he truly felt. "PING" The batcomputer had successfully found a signal which was being transmitted from the warehouse in front of which this all started. Bruce got up and ordered his computer to bring out the suit of death. This suit was designed by Bruce to make sure that nothing would happen to him as the suit didn't consist of cloth but it was an armour of titanium and steel. Not even bullets could pierce this suit let alone swords or knives. "Alfred" Bruce said as the suit he was going to wear powered up with its eyes glowing red like an evil monster. "It's a small price to pay." Bruce said as he suited up and left the cave in the batmobile. "Oh dear god no." Alfred shed a few tears as he now knew that Bruce Wayne was now dead. What existed now was only the dark knight, the caped crusader. THE BATMAN!
